This is not surprising in the realm of image boards, and especially not surprising for something as radical as the Infinity Next model. Hosting a text only imageboard that operates as a honey pot for pedos is a bad look but it's probably more effective at catching them than anything.

That being said this is a bad look for dear feeder.

All this shit with going around calling everyone pedophiles is just going to take whatever power the word had away. You can't go around claiming the sky is falling all the time or crying wolf. Eventually no one will take you seriously anymore. Accusations of pedophilia should only be made with the hardest of evidence. Those accusations ruin peoples lives. They are serious accusations. If you want to insult someone you should use something else other than calling them a pedophile.

It's like feminist with their rape accusations. After a while people said no police report no rape. Which is 100% the right way to deal with it.

Considering it was dear leader's libertarian phase, it could have been MUCH MUCH worse.
I believed he is reformed and has dropped most of his libertarian positions, baring a few cool ones like hating fiat currency.
 
Null has made it clear that the only reason he ever allowed pedophiles or lolifags was because of a naive and misplaced libertarian idealism and precisely because of his experiences of having to host such people and the trouble they caused him, he views it as a mistake now. The Venn diagram of people who post lolicon and people who post CP was apparently just one circle, as Null could see the IPs of the people who posted both.

Very strange thread. Something I would've expected from some mysterious account created yesterday with no previous posts. What are you trying to get at OP?

I think a lot of the misconception that libertarians are cool with pedophiles is some Saul Alinsky shit. "Hold your enemies to their own standards." A commie pedo gets caught with mountains of CP, and having no understanding of libertarianism, claims that "well, you don't agree with governments or laws or shit like that, so how can you condemn me for this?"

Most libertarians think pedophiles should be hanged by their necks until they are dead, just as long as it's not the state facilitating it. This is how you get incidents like the murder of Ken McElroy. He was shot in broad daylight in front of dozens of witnesses but the crime continues to be unsolved as everyone despised Ken and pretended they weren't looking when he was shot. This happens a lot in the ghetto too, but generally for different reasons.

I don't like putting limits on speech no matter what is said, I feel the same about blasphemy and hate speech laws. Even speech I find abhorrent is just speech and should be protected because my view on cutting back on rights no matter how small or right it may seem is that doing so just makes it easier to continuously chip away at said rights. However, the people that say these sorts of things should be monitored by site admins in case speech goes to action and they start doing illegal things.

I wasn't hinting at libertarians being cool with pedos, I'm saying that they protect them by holding their rights as absolute and attack state power which is supposed to be the sword of the people that strikes mercilessly against pedos and all other enemies of the common good.

Yeah, so they just want anarchy and thinks things will just magickly work out well and it's not going to be like Mexico where the most ruthless cartel boss decides who lives and who dies... In practice this means protecting pedos and other scum of the earth because it attacks realistic and legitimate ways of dealing with them in favor of a delusional pipe dream built on a flawed view of how humans act.
