Hello Friens, I was writting some scifi role play adventure and was thinking hard about evil lurkers and other outerworldly horrors, but it didnt click so i had to drink a bit to make mah bren flow better.
All that thinky juice didnt help, but it got me into some sort of rabbithole.
We dont need outerworldly horrors because people on the internet itself create them. Hear me out before you scream shizo....
Lets start!
1. 4chan/8chan
Legions is described as many spirits inside of one. that describes 4chan pretty well, no people, only posts, a giant internet hate machine made from it.
nobody to call shots, nobody to set a course, just a cacofonie of hate, pranks and other stupid ideas.
2. Succubus/twinkubus
Mindless females with the single goal to ruin men. twitch and only fans are not Porn! its not an online stripclub, its much worse, back in the older, analoge times people simping for strippers and hoes was not unheared off, but it came from deranged men. now we have a billion $ industry that tries everything to get male into that trap, simps are not paying to see tits, they are paying to get attention in a sick parasocial relationship.
3. rockos basilisk
somewhere in the furture there will be an almitghty AI, judging us how we interacted with its creation. this is not only very scary, it will happen at some point and we cant do anything against it without being punished and we cant do anything to please it because that will create it. scary stuff.
4. robotsheep
have you read youtube comments recently? or twitter twits? or facebook comments? its all bots, we have been building a horde of bots for all kinds of reasons we are being drowned out by machines of our own creation. the lack of soul fueled voices leads to the next creation.
5. the undead Hordes.
You might know them as NPC, they just act like electric sheep, but they were human at sometime. years of interaction with more and more bots rotted their brain and molded them into a single hivemind that shambles around the internet trying to eat as many brains as possible.
