It's still surreal to me that a fucking meme of a cat making fun of you for being gay devolved into this kinda shit. Part of me wonders if the memes where the little shit is scarred/existential and depressed was like a direct response to what the meme became.

The og meme was 100% blatantly him making fun of the viewer for possibly being gay. There as an uptick again a few years back when it first showed up of gay jokes like that in memes in general. The character in the initial boykisser meme image appeared in some other unrelated memes by the creator, it'sjust that ONE image that these fuckers hyperfocused on. There's a difference between a goofy character saying or doing random shit made by some gay furfag and gay furfags taking one of the things the character says in one video and making some fanfic where he's going around sucking people's faces and making them into clones of him, as well as using the meme's popularity to groom kids.

Many years ago. On a January night in 2022, I came across an image on Deviantart so abhorrently indescribable that made me uncontrollably laugh for how incredibly cursed it was. Fast forward to today and I found the same image buried in my PC.

2022 was only 2 years ago lmao, not "many". I'm already constantly wigging out over shit from "recent history" being over 8 or 10 years ago feeling like it was only 1 or 2 years ago, guess that's how monotonous shit's been in pop culture lately. Still the watermark nightmare combined with the buff Steven has a very specific kind of funny vibe about it.

So, a bit of a forward for this post: the person I'm showing off here is originally from dA, but got banned (probably for spam and non-stop pestering randos for free foot art) and is now posting on FA.
This is SunnyFeetLover. (Archive) As you can guess from their username, they like two things: feet and a character I'm assuming is from the new 3D My Little Pony movie/show/whatever, because it's pretty much what the majority of their 'art' consists of. And what do they draw, exactly? Well, they don't. Like most dAutists, they just take screenshots of characters they like from various shows and video games and copypaste these crappy MS-Paint colored feet base over them.
Some examples:
Oh, and they like to take other people's art and paste random characters into them, because of course.
"Okay, this is just some run-of-the-mill dA user, then?" Yes. Yes, they are. Since they like to spam their low-effort junk in handfuls, I'd noticed their stuff on FA's front page, chuckled to myself internally and went about my day. And I wouldn't have felt any need to look into this person further or bother archiving their art.
And then they uploaded this:

And yes, from what I can tell, this person is serious.

I found this artist by the name of luigiandoinkers on DA (Booigipoo on TH) who draws tons of off-putting characters with Mario/Luigi faces. Originally I found this person on ToyHouse while looking up the tag “autistic” and saw they have a DeviantArt.

The thought process behind this kind of autist is an enigma, there's something about them that's just amusing even when their 'art' is bizarre. The kind of hyperfocus on merging two specific weird things together.
