Dick Hafer. Right wing cartoonist, batshit crazy, dead. But even in death one can provide us with lols/facepalming.
Basically Jack Chick's crazier brother. But where Jack's works are (at least in my view) So Bad They're Good, Hafer's works are just awful. Allow me to demonstrate this with the comic "Homosexuality: Legitimate Alternate Deathstyle".
The title alone should be enough to tell you exactly what kind of comic this is.

And yes, his name really was "Dick Hafer".
Alternate Deathstyle would be a really metal band name.
 
Dibs on the name Sodomy is a Learned Habit for my metal band. Or possibly Beware of Queers.

At least he doesn't make his author avatar as handsome as Chick does. Maybe he wanted to be sure no homos would want to beat off to his image.

Also, "The first sex you have sets your orientation! It's not like people would want to have sex with people they're already attracted to or anything!"

Sadly I can't post pics, but this thing would be great for a MSTing. I mean, right off the bat you learn that the old guy from Up is a bigot. Too bad the copy linked isn't a full version.
 
Enter the Jabberwocky used to do really fun Chick tract rips, and he also had a Gonterman one (how I found him).

Years ago I actually found a similarly weird comic on the other end of the spectrum about four women getting abortions, might see if I can find it again.

I've read those. They were great! But you know, I kind of like Chick. They're cheesy and stupid, but also entertaining in how cheesy and stupid they are. I don't really get that from Hafer. He's just a dick.
Also, according to the comic, if you go gay you get to have all the sex and drugs you want. I thought this was supposed to be trying to convince people to not be gay.

Is it just me, or does that comic seem suspiciously well informed? I mean, this was back in the 80s, kind of before Internet. How exactly would one find information on the filthy depraved sex the ghays are having?
Oh, and I like how the comic spends a shit ton of time telling us when the ghays put their evil wieners, then puts in a sentence about "Oh, yeah, some women are homos and they use fake penises."
And then it goes back to how evil and sexy male homos are and the whereabouts of their gay dicks.

I love the early Jabberwock dissertations; hell, I love everything to do with Chick, a man so kooky he refused to be photographed on the grounds that Catholics would try to steal his soul or some such. Hafer's hilarious too, I particularly like his assertion that "the anal wall is only one cell thick"; poor guy must have had awful trouble going potty. :briefs:

I was looking through the comic and there is page with a diagram that goes: "Sex Life," "More Sex Life," "Still More Sex Life," "Still more... Oh you get the Idea," "Work - To Get More Money for Sex Life," "Yet More Sex Life."

I don't see the problem with that.

I like how the "work" part is portrayed with a stick figure of a hairdresser. Because obviously the homos can't do anything else. Also, the comic claims only streight people can make cultural or economic contributions to society.
