Did Betelgeuse Have The Right Idea, But The Wrong Means?

Think about it. All he wanted to do was to marry Lydia and be freed from the underworld. The Maitlands were left in shambles and emotional turmoil after the Deetzes moved in. A stronger ghost was needed for the bio-exorcism. He was ambitious and took the reigns and fixed the situation. Without him, the Maitlands wouldn't have such good ectoplasmic standing. The serpentine haunting served a purpose, to bring peace and power back to Barbara and Adam. The only reason why the Maitlands and Lydia were so disgusted with him is how he did, not what he was trying to do. If the means were better, they would have been lauding him.

Betelgeuse may have been a ghost of his time, a ghost of sexual perversion, a bio-exorcist, and a menace, but from an objective standpoint, one could say that he was the ghost with the most.

Beetlejuice was the original Joker, ngl. All these hypocritical incels who shit on him but suck on Joaquin Pheonix's cow-loving dick need to their act straight.

Yeah, they call him "scary" and refuse to say his name (for whatever reason), but expect the rest of the world to worship Joker. Very intellectually dishonest.

That's funny now that you mentioned that, Michael Keaton was probably miscasted, despite being a decent Batman he could have been a better Joker than Jack Nicholson.
