Terf used to refer to a very specific subset of online feminists that saw Trans people particularly f2m’s for what they were. But i’ve noticed that trannys have started to use term for anyone who disagrees with their agenda. recently dave chappelle described himself as a terf which got me thinking about when did this word change meaning to be anyone anti trans instead of the specific group it was made for.

The sexual-mimic and the feminist opposition to the sexual-mimic are being framed as the only two acceptable choices, whereas it is obviously gay as fuck to submit to feminism right up to trans but then not trans.

TERF is just being used as a snarl, first by the trans-community and then by Chappelle who picked it up and said "sure, that's me". It is a power-move to just say yes when a Black man asks if you are just calling him a Nigger. Black men know this, white men don't. The only chance Dave ever had to do this, he took it. Make of that whatever you will.

Well it always meant "any bitch (why do feminists love using that slur? you don't see BLM supporters saying 'nigger') who doesn't want to accept what trannies tell her to think and say". In that sense, I don't think it changed much.

Dave Chapelle did call himself a feminist before calling himself a TERF. Not disagreeing about the usage changing in general, just saying he did address that. Still pretty sure he's not a "radical feminist" but he did use it to mean more than simply rejecting trans ideology.

What are we supposed to call feminist hags now that normal people have been lumped into the "terf" category?

It used to have a specific meaning but now it’s just an socially acceptable insult for troons to hiss at women who don’t kowtow to them.

It’s funny when this is pointed out so they try to backtrack and say “it’s just a description” which is obviously bullshit when they’re calling normies, conservative women and sometimes men radical feminists.

Well yes of course it changed. Since what is considered to be transphobic changed along non-existent criteria of being trans. Denying that male bodies can experience periods is transphobic; saying that gender = sex is transphobic but also saying that gender and sex aren't the same is transphobic in some circles; a lesbian/gay man saying she/he won't date transwomen/transmen is transphobia.
When you describe someone as a homophobe on the other hand, there is no vagueness. On tumblr people associate terfs with trads for some reason because nothing screams conservative like a lesbian that supports abortions.
Even people on the farms use the terf to describe any women that is transphobic.

I think the term became meaningless when anyone can be trans, basically when transmeds got labelled as transphobic hateful bigots that want trans people dead and enbies blew up.

It's an amazing tactic honestly and I don't think the term will change meaning and it basically guarantees social exclusion in woke circles since it's on par with being called homophobic.

tbh I think "TRA" has been used so much it has little meaning. It basically just means someone who isn't a TERF.

Food for thought- what category do "neutral" people come under? You know, people with lives who don't care about the debate either way, they wouldn't actively put up a pride flag but they wouldn't complain about one either. Are they TERFs or TRAs?

I have 2 sisters who never talk about transpeople, but they both have full time jobs and 2 kids each so I guess they don't have time to come on here or twitter.

I have seen TERF used by trannies to mean "someone who doesn't agree with me" for at least 10 years now. It's not a recent change though it was a more niche term before trooning out became en vogue.

Unless they're both willing to take those kids to a session of 'Drag Queen Story hour' and let a pedo in a skin-tight leotard and a tutu that barely covers the bulge, twerk directly in front of their faces with his spandax-covered ballsack mere inches from their noses, then they're gonna be called TERFs.
