I laugh internally, not audibly because I don't want anyone here to ask me what I'm laughing about. Most of what I find funny requires some back story and some people near me do not think disparaging troons or laughing at fat people is appropriate behavior.

I don't think actually laughing out loud is required to use LOL any more than I think LMAO requires your ass to actually fall off due to laughing.
