Do you read whole lolcow threads?

A mix of reading pages and highlights. If there are a lot of highlights back to back there's usually something interesting going on worth reading, sometimes I go back and read what the highlight references due to missing context.

If the thread is boring I switch to highlights.

Some summers back I read the entirety of the YandereDev thread in the span of about a month. I don't regret the experience whatsoever but I dunno how I managed it, lol.

But anyway if it's short enough I might opt to read from start to finish.

I read the thread opening post then skip to the back of the thread and move backward. Since quoting is common culture here, thankfully context is never that much of an issue.

It's much better than the shit that Reddit and 4chan use for navigating old content. Ceasing use of bb boards is frankly a sign of societal degeneration. The modern technological push for less archives and more dopamine dopamine dopamine is why fake news and incorrect information is so prevalent.

I did this but for Pretty Ugly Little Liars' thread. Made it to 4000 before I bailed. Havent kept up with it in a while. I miss those cunts.

Some of them I have. I read through all three of the big Nick Bate threads, and I keep pretty updated on Chris. The rest I just skim through

Yes I can read
Tldr on seeing what the last part was

On a serious note I read some of the start and then skip to like the last 20 pages of the thread and join in with the discussion

Most of the time I read them when they are on the feederboard though

A mixture. Some threads I've read page by page, some I started on the last twenty or thirty pages, and since the highlight function has come in, I've used that too. It varies, depending on how interesting the cow is and the commenters (thread regulars can make or break a thread imho) and how autistic I feel at the time. I've read some large threads beginning to start, but the truly massive ones- those that are in the multiple thousands of pages- are intimidating, to say the least. But sometimes they're fun, too; reading about the early years of a subject is a bit like going to a library and doing a deep dive into the archives, and I always used to enjoy that.
