Does anyone else feel like redditors believe in a liberal form of "American Exceptionalism"?

As much as they claim to hate "muh AmeriKKKa", alot of them seem to subconsciously believe that America is the only place that matters, everywhere else is an "irrelevant shithole." After all, it's America that sowed the seeds of modern day European "gay multicultural" values which they love so much. They seem to see anything that deviates from mainstream American values as "wrong and backwards" (like Spain's moorface). And they keep dragging American terminology into everything, like an article about a country millions of miles away from America having comments like "X country is the Alabama of Europe" or "(Insert political party) are the rePUBElicans of Asia". And they're perfectly happy with flaunting their superpower status as long as it's being used to bully countries into accepting gay sex.

Terminally online foreigners have a tendency to apply American politics to their own backwater country. Protesting police shootings in their country when their own police don't even carry guns. The internet and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
Ngl it was funny to see Europeans carry out BLM protests in places where there like 5 blacks at best and the cops don't even carry guns.
"B-but you don't have to live in the US to show solidarity with them"
Okay, but why not dozens of problems at your own doorstep first? (The whole clusterfuck with Syria, Lybia etc.)

Global American Empire (G.A.E.) perfectly sums up midwit reddit politics.

Endless "humanitarian interventions" where Hillary Clinton burns down third world countries until they agree to hold Disney-sponsored kiddie pride parades, and all the heckin' diversarinos wave the rainbow-blm-ukraine flag to defeat Huwite Supremism.

Every once in awhile I agree with this statement and wonder if the world wouldn't have been better if the internet either never existed, or if we at least never progressed beyond the days of dial-up.

Then I think of things we'd lose and wonder if that would really be a good thing.

Could swear there was a topic about this, actually.

reddit is the gathering place for every shithead petty tyrant of any stripe, it's not specifically american
just go into any topic about environmentalism and you'll see retards desperate screaming to oppress working class people more, ban cars, ban flights, ban meat, ban everything but dont dare to say chinese mass produced shit like funko pops should be taxed a little more or impugned in any way

When I was a lot more naïve and ignorant of the hypocrisy of these people, I used to be confused - do they not make the connection that pushing that their mentality is supreme, the most just and the most morally correct is no better than their evil colonialist forefathers they claim to hate? I've seen these wokesters say to my face that I'm ignorant of what my own people find offensive, that what they decide is offensive to me is what matters most.

I still don't get it, but instead of confusion I feel hate.

Modern progressive thinking is like a gay communist parody of White Man's Burden.
It really is. They treat anyone who isn't an enlightented western white liberal like a child or a zoo exhibit. They also have lots of very American concepts on how the world works. This is why for example, the war in Afganistan failed because they seriously thought that they simply can americanize even the Graveyard of Empires.

Yes, I've said this before myself. They absolutely do. They think America is exceptionally evil, denying any good it does and making it be the exceptionally worse nation in human history. They have no perspective whatsoever.

The worst thing is, from my experience, reddit represents what the average person thinks, too.

yeah just look at chucklefucks like tomlinson they sound just like bush rah rah americah numbah whan invade now! neocons but for buttsex and troon kids

The “average person” doesn’t think about any of this shit. They’re too busy figuring out how they’re going to pay for their next meal/pay the rent/keep the lights on/take care of their family members. They don’t have time for any of this shit and even with the TV blaring the propaganda in the background they barely have time to hear or absorb it.

You know that the percentage of eligible voters who actually vote is? The Feds CLAIM that only 50%-60% voted in the 2020 Presidential elections and we know how good they are at counting. At state-level it’s more like 20%-30% and when you get down to local elections/school boards/etc it’s 5%-10%. The majority of people in the US don’t vote and don’t care about this shit and from what I’ve seen of the world most folks in other countries don’t either.

Now, folks that are terminally online with nothing else to occupy their time/mind? Yeah, they’re obsessed with it. The “average person” just wants to grill but can’t figure out why they can’t afford a steak.

Average younger person.

It's basically the status quo of leftist faggots - praising other cultures until they see the based parts of them and then bullying those cultures to behave according to American values.
They won't be satisfied until every nation-state in the world is forced to have a statue of two men performing homosexual acts in the courtyard of their legislature.

Oh wait, that's not progressive enough, it's gotta be two transgender furries with autism or something.

This attitude minus 'everywhere else is an irrelevant shithole' is bigger and older than reddit and a general feature of Europhiles who obsess about news in America to the exclusion of anything in their own country, if European, or show no actual interest in Europe despite constantly proclaiming it as superior if American. They also pronounce America as inferior in everyway, even in concepts that came from america, like much of the modern SJW stuff.

No, it's easy to joke about muh trannies. But what happens is more malicious act of turning cultures into safe corporate version of themselves. Native Americans are probably the earliest example, any warlike part of their culture was sanitized into basically turning them all into their portrayal in Pocahontas. I'll be surprised if most Native Americans even know their culture beyond media portrayal
