Does anyone here like Skittles and how do I make my cat really happy?

Every cat is different, so don't buy anything huge or expensive until you know what your cat likes.
Fill it with boxes
For instance, this would be like Disneyland for some cats, but I've also known cats who completely ignore boxes. Luckily cardboard boxes are cheap, so you can just leave the next few you get lying around and see if the cat's into it. My cat won't get in fort-sized boxes but she likes shoebox-sized boxes to sit in.

If you can move furniture up next to windows, cats usually like windows. You don't have to buy a cat tower--those can be a gamble--you can just move a stuffed chair next to the window so the cat can sit on the backrest and look out. Move a side table next to another window, and don't put anything breakable on it. If the cat likes that, you can adjust to a window seat or a tower if you prefer.

Put some pinch guards on interior doors--they make door openers just for cats, but the babyproofing pinch guards are cheaper and easier to find. This lets the cat tear around/do cat stuff without getting stuck anywhere, and it only takes a second to remove.

Lots of things for your kitty to climb or perch on! Cat tree, those floating shelf things, stuff like that. Cats love to be up high and remind up you that they are superior.
