yeah i hate the idea that if you dont agree 100% with all the covid measure you are anti-vax alt-rite neonazi. I just dont think you should mandate populationwide vaccine. If you are an at-risk group. Take the jab. It might actually save your life even if i dont think the vaccine is as effective as they say. It still does something.
But for healthy people? why? Your chance of dying to the coof is close to nil. Your chance of averse reaction to the vaccine is also very low, but why should i be forced to take that risk when im not at risk to covid either? Its also a question of bodily autonomy (and before someone bring up but muh abortion, this equation involve a second life). Nobody should be forced to undergo medical operation if they do not wish so. It also open up the path to other draconian measures down the line.
As for other measure? Washing hands? YES FUCK YES, you dirty fuckers. put that soap and disinfectant at every door. That should have been a thing BEFORE covid. IDK how many time ive been at some public place and no fucking soap left in the dispenser before that i would just carry around small bottle of hand disinfectant on me/my car.
Mask? I hate them, but i wear them. Its one i can compromise on.
Closing down business over covid? Now this has had rippling effects through the world. Inflation, job loss, etc. Economy in shambles bring about other problem. One of the best health indicator of a country is its economic prosperity. Fuck with that, you fuck with people health (stress, depression, etc) which has not been taken into account by many left leaning people when we have to balance between freedoms and security in health measures.
Now the other effect is one that will be causing damage for untold amount of years. The integrity of health agency. The lying and manipulation will make me never trust them ever. I wish icould trust them but its clear they have political agendas shoved down their throats and forced to regurgigate to feed us bullshit and lies for whatever power that be. Call me a fucking schizo but im done with any goverment agency. This erosion of trust will be the most damaging thing going forward.
