Does soy make you left wing?

Does putting soy sauce on my chinese food automatically make me a soy boy? Or is there like a bigger threshold here you have to cross in order to qualify
Chinese food already has a high soy content, so putting more soy on it probably qualifies you, yes.

Do soys drink soy because they are soy?

Or does drinking soy make the soys soy?
My hypothesis would be that the pathways of influence are complex and bidirectional; people who drink a lot of soy are likely to come into contact with people who have illiberal (leftwing) views, while people who have illiberal views already, and have one those increasingly common, leftwing social circles that strictly reinforces illiberal views, will likely come into contact with pressure to consume more soy.

However, of the two, I think the stronger pathway of influence would be "soys drink soy because they are soy". My reason being that
  1. purchasing and consuming soy is a still a private matter; there is no "soy council" to which one must apply to receive a license for consuming soy. Thus, soy consumers may consume soy without encountering soy boys. (the reverse is not true; the sociocultural development of a soyboy is tightly controlled by the orthodoxy of his group. Any soyboy who does not himself consume soy, will inevitably and invariably encounter opportunities, incentives, and pressures, to conform and drink soy)
  2. if we look at other culinary products with strong ties to a particular community, I think we'd find that consumption does not lead to identification with, or participation in, that community. For example, many people eat pizza, but will not turn into an Italian. Many people eat fried chicken, but will not turn into Gentlemen of Colour. Many people eat sushi, but will not put on a suit and tie and get a grownup job. etc etc

I consume a lot of soy since I was a kid and I'm in the middle, maybe even slightly to the right in some subjcts so probably no.

It's just that a certain archetype is predisposed to liking soy due to lifestyle or environmental reasons.
The phytoestrogens affecting hormones stuff is all bullshit, the soyboy thing is just a funny meme.
