Why is being a Doomer a bad thing? I used to jokingly say "always assume the worst, and you'll never be disappointed". But now I unironically believe it. It is an outlook that has never failed me.
If my expectations are always at rock bottom, the outcome of any situation will either a) vindicate my blackpilledness, or b) pleasantly surprise me.
Being a Doomer doesn't mean you shouldn't try to improve your lot or be despondent. It just means not being an idiotic Polyanna. Optimism leads to dashed hopes and dreams most of the time.
