@BearInThaWoods sounds like a nightmare to deal it. Did the guy have experience in leading CPs? Can you name the project, i'd like to take a look in the development thread.
Speaking of which, Embryo, aka, the megawad i participated in September 2023, is now finally in RC status. RC2 to be exact. I talked about it before, so i'll give you the short version... The project had a 6-month schedule, was supposed to be released in February 2024, but 1/3rd of the mappers couldn't finish their levels, despite them having to be small, due to guideline restriction. Instead of just releasing what he already had, Moustacho extended the deadline twice, but it was still not kept, until there was no longer a deadline and the thing went in limbo, up until now. He now decided to release it with less maps anyway, but this is something he should've done 18 months ago, and respect the work of the mappers who actually bothered to deliver their maps in the original schedule.
So, i downloaded this thing two weeks ago, and guess what? My map... the map i submitted nearly two years ago, is credited to Eager Beaver in the endmap screen. Clearly an unintentional error, as i'm credited with a different map, but still, Embryo has been in this state for at least a month now, and Moustachio can't be bothered to fix the damn credits. It becomes clear that he doesn't give a shit about the project, and considers it a failure, when he decided not to make a new thread for the RC, which is something that would've brought more attention to it. Nah, he just tuned the dev thread into an RC thread, making sure less people will click on it.
