I played gzdoom the other day with that brutal doom mod, and it was quite fun. Forgot how frantic these shooters were.

Then I see this thread on the farms and of course everyone involved is a tremendous autist/troon. Some people obsessing over a game that came first out in ~93 are crazy autists, who would've thought.

They particularly locked threads that said that bringing in the "Trans rights" shit in the forums was unneeded and political. When people started to agree and bump the thread up, the mods locked it with a message saying something like "Trans rights are not political, they're human rights." Probably should have been more specific. I myself was banned from the Doom subreddit because one of the mods (named something like "Kevanseven" or something) decided to bring up the ZDoom forum post about trans rights, and I called him out for breaking two of the subreddit rules; bringing cross-community stuff to the subreddit, and making political posts. He banned me after a argument in the post he made.

I think I saw that trans rights post in ZDoom forums. That whole thing is shite and desolate. That's why the DRLA discord seems to be more active than the forums right now but I have a bad feeling about one of the moderators there.

Doom community has been doomed long time ago. Anything that becomes too mainstream, no matter how good it is, automatically becomes a target for all the wrong people.

No kidding, I've yet to see any community that panders to LGBT bullshit and survives the storm. In case of Doom this is even more ridiculous. So, a game where you are a PMC blasting down hordes of demons and actually takes so much joy into it , your character ends up being sealed inside hell and the newer games even handshake that with him being a fearful entity of destruction, can't have something on the likes of Lara Croft gets eternal punishment for tampering with forces she doesn't know?
