I really wish there was some form of solution to the tranny janny problem in places like that, they might be insane and feel like offing eachother 41% of the time but there's some extreme adaptability to get into shitty positions of power like that. Pretty much if the community isn't inherently a free speech haven or decisivily right wing (and even then the "based tranny" phenomenon occurs) they will ALWAYS have some tranny janny, it's insane.
I've seen this happen multiple times to many video game based forums and unless it's some strict slav jank with a majority russian playerbase it pretty much will always fall.

When I decided to revisit the forums in 2017, the first warning sign was that the fish had been replaced with anime in regards to avatars.
I was also somewhat disappointed over the removal of Post Hell. After stumbling upon pics of dudes wearing dresses and witnessing this Nine Inch Heels person and NotJabba having an incredibly autistic debate with mile long replies.. over veganism, it became apparent that DW in its entirety is now Post Hell.

Video game forums, to survive, have to have a brutally harsh no politics rule (I would argue other hobbyist forums should too). The better gaming forums that still have some life in them practice this ruthlessly. What I noticed happening is that from the late 90s on, the parasite types would congregate on the 'off topic' boards and then slowly spread their cancer to the other boards. Probably even off topic boards are a bad idea nowadays.

I wasn't frequent Doomworld poster, but that reminds me of one thing. There was that fad with a garbled George Jetson avatar - I think there was even a clan or a group on Skulltag some of them formed called the Jetsons. It was a long while, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was their logo of sorts. Makes me wish they'd meme on old cartoons again, instead of... whatever Nine Inch Heels would be about, but sounds like an obvious case of a troon.
