What the hell are Toei thinking? Even GT fans hate kid Goku, at least this is only a short web series. Why not do something interesting with a web series, like explore what happened to Future Trunks and Mai when they returned to the past-future where everything wasn't destroyed. Did they simply deal with the their past selves, did some-kinda fusion? Or maybe Future-Future Trunks thinks its too much, and becomes a Time Patroller? If they have to do a prequel, why not do a proper Jaco the Galactic Patrolman adaptation?

I feel the negative reception to kid Goku in GT was mainly due to the awful writing of GT and less he's a badly received character, but a big problem is the choreography is really handicapped by his stubby limbs for fights, which is why GT copped out and gave him an adult form halfway into the story. He's not a death sentence but he needs to be handled properly.

I thought that they were hinting at that in DBS: Broly with his 'Rage' state (accessing Great Ape power with no transformation, yellow eyes, spiky black hair).

Canonizing SSj4 would make it great no matter how bad it otherwise may be. It's the 2nd best form after SSj1.

As a fan of the franchise I hope it's good. The animation looks promising with the classic Dragon Ball humor. It's too early to speculate but I wonder if this involves a new deity akin to the God of Destruction.

Animation looks great, but it's still using that awful art style super used. Broly was the style they should have stuck with going forward. Even GTs style would have been preferred for the chibi look. Also hate the weird fish lipped dude.

I'm not into the direction for Daima, I don't want to see a cast of kid versions of the characters. If it was just Goku & Supreme Kai that'd be more tolerable, but if they want a full cast of kids then just focus on Maron, Pan, and Bulla. They could even introduce new characters, this is lazy.

That said, I'm still looking forward to it.

After everything going on with what's his face setting up Capsule Corp. Tokyo, toei may not have the ability to do so. Copyright law is a fucking Gordian knot no matter what side of the pacific you're on.

If that really is the case it's another capital L for vegeta, he's never getting out of goku's shadow at this rate if they take away his own custom form.

The manga exclusive arcs were okay but if DBS continues I hope they heavily rework or replace those arcs. Gas is the most boring villain in all of Dragon Ball, including GT, and probably even non-canon stuff like DBH. Moro had potential but there's no saving Gas.

I'm sure super will return eventually, though, it was supposed to years ago. Mysteriously it got cancelled before it could happened and nobody seems to know why, but they wouldn't keep making the movies if they didn't have some kind of plan right.
