I remember coming across this guy's Dark Souls video and he ranted about a pile of bricks for like 15 minutes or some shit. I admire his autism.
 
I've been watching Daima. I hope there's a second season. It may not get one.

For those not aware, it turns out a Japanese boy band leader who was ofc managed by Johnny's turned out to be a sex pest, having "woman trouble" that ended with the woman having severe internal injuries and the woman getting a payout. Because of this, Fuji TV, the network that has run Dragon Ball since forever, has had most of their sponsors pull their commercials and they're running almost nonstop PSAs and promos for Fuji programming.

Hope Daima would finally get to big fights. Having Goku and Vegeta struggle against mooks is just infuriating. Why the fuck do laser guns seem to always be insanely potent, you'd think they'd use those on the keepers of the Dragon Balls.

Tech and magical damage seem effective against Sayiens. The Gamma's were able to inflict damage too.

While I haven't watched Diama. Goku getting shot in the back by that dickhead in Res. of F is incredibly retarded. Because he's unaware he can get hole punched? Wut?

These characters can just eat fireballs/beams that can destroy planets but some manufactured ray gun can kill them lol. I hate these studios.

Yep, he had to make it overwhelmingly hopeless for Gohan. It was a good call too, because Cell had even more power in reserve, which surprised everyone, including Goku.

I agree. There's been too much of that shit, and I have no idea why they were struggling. I have no problem with tech being strong, but the wielders are weaklings. There's no reason Goku can't just blitz them. I get there's a lot of them, basically an army's worth, but still. Just fire a blast big enough to destroy the entire area.

They're still milking the "oUr KiD bOdIeS aRe ReStRiCtInG uS" shit. They need a better excuse at this point because they've been fighting well for a while now, I could buy it early on but not anymore.

Even a regular bullet hurt Goku in DBS, if you're off-guard in DB anything can hurt you basically. I don't have an issue with that, personally.

It's honestly not that crazy since there's precedent for it. You remember that part in the Frieza saga where the jobber vegeta gets krillin to do him in with a basic bitch beam so dende can power boost him? Like their explanation for how that does so much damage in the first place is because vegeta was "lowering his guard" iirc.

Anyways, Daima, meh. I don't really know how i'd feel about it about 10 episodes in. Don't like at all how the first episode is filler, and you can skip it completely and not miss a single beat. They made Master Roshi look like One Punch Man for some reason, and there's not a whole lot of fighting either, with what little there is rarely standing out as anything spectacular. It feels like Toriyama is trying to redo GT without actually getting rid of GT. A return to adventure, but so far ALOT of this show has just be characters meandering around, i don't know how to explain it. Like, the show feels very short, but not in a good way, lacking substance i guess you could say.
