The dropkiwifarms site notes that DDOS protection (regardless of how effective) is a 'critical' aspect to getting Cloudflare to drop services for the farms. There is only one reason this could be 'critical' - to make the criminal act of DDOSing the site more effective. They are completely mask-off with this hilariously stupid statement.

If you are new to Keffals/Dropkiwifarms/Mango Ranch, this is good evidence that they are absolutely fine with using criminal methods, or condoning them, to take down the farms. Something the movement is supposedly entirely against.

I would be surprised if that wording stays up.

Remarkably prescient blogpost from Cloudflare. It's genuinely shocking that a tech-based company actually bothered to look ahead into the future and asked at the consequences of its own policy, and actually brought up the fact that the internet exists beyond the anglosphere.

This mentality is what I for one stand against.

Calling someone by name or preferred name is a courtesy, not something compulsory....especially when calling Bruce Caitlyn or Ellen Eliot is a tacit concession to transgender lunacy....

Do these people think that taking down this site will do something about the people on it? Clearly their issue is that we don’t like them and they hate us, but it’s not like we will somehow reconsider our opinions when a bunch of troons destroy a place we enjoy spending time on.

It's about power. If the farms ever WERE to come down, they would just go to the next venue that does not sign on to their insane ideas where they think they have the moral prerogative to compel speech, or compel silence...
