I'd literally only used tor twice before while fucking around with brave. Downloaded the browser to my phone so I can keep up to date. This is literally a matter of free speech- can we be dicks on public forums, or do we need to continuously follow unwritten and ever changing codes of conduct? Less than 10 years ago faggot and tranny were perfectly acceptable (if rude) words. Now they're shibboleths that bring about instant annihilation. I hope this brings more normies around to learning about the alternatives to clearnet and the Google/Facebook/Twitter hivemind. It probably won't, but that's what I hope for. Semper fucking fidelis to all kiwi forces, Josh, and everyone fighting for free speech on the internet. Fuck this bullshit.

Reminder cloudflare provided security services to websites run by Hamas, ISIS, and Al-Shabab and refused to stop providing these services when the Israelis were begging CF to take down these sites because of the active danger to civilian lives.

that's the really depressing thing about all of this, is knowing that some of these people really, truly believe they are doing important activism instead of annoying corporations and law enforcement and entertaining the shit out of old-school trolling posses.

it's like they think the Internet is war or something.
