Elden Ring

It's so cool that they decided to make an Elder Scrolls x Lord of the Rings crossover game.

It's a next gen port. Until the previous gen get dropped entirely it's daft to say otherwise.

I remember the days when you'd have a PS1 and a PS2 version of a game and they'd be two entirely different versions, just similar in theme, like Ray Man 2 on PS1 and Ray Man 2 Revolution on PS2.

Later though the next gen gap would be the same basic game, just a difference in graphics which was varyingly noticeable.

It definitely quashes my enthusiasm that Elden Ring is not a true next gen From Software game and who knows when we'll see that, from the screens I've seen it doesn't really look that much better than Sekiro.

Nah, about Rayman 2, was only for the PS2 the different version and adding Revolution. The Dreamcast port is similar to the N64 & PS1 ver.
 
Will someone who hasn’t found the mainline Souls games enjoyable like this? I liked Sekiro enough, I guess.

he maybe is kinda annoying, but he's usefull for explaining the lore and story. those are the videos i watch to understand what the hell the game is about.
I mean, do YOU read each item description?
also, do you guys reccomend ranged or melee build for the best experience?
 
Yea there was just no way this was going to be bad. From's track record is just too good.

His videos are enjoyable when they are actually covering something, and aren't just filler between game releases. After he covered everything on Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne he was desperate to scrounge up ideas for content while people were waiting for Elden Ring.
