Go pick this weapon up and spam the weapon art at bosses and tough enemies and watch them melt. I just destroyed a boss that I was having issues with late game by spamming this bad boy. Will probably shelve it since I only wanted to use it to progress through a wall.
Also I am really surprised to hear people having issues with Radahn. My friend and I both thought he was a gimmick boss since he just rolled over and died after a few hits with the summons taking all the aggro. If you are having trouble I would just recommend doing him later, I think I was around 70 or 80 when I beat him and I never got off the horse.
The weapon above may work for radahn, the art has decent range. I personally used the Golden Halberd (my staple boss killer) and heavy attacked from the horse.
if you really want to cheese the boss (you pretty much have to rely on RNG) the best thing to do is just summon mimic tear and spam attack with a katana so you can proc blood loss. It's such a dumb fight.
Alternatively you could take my strategy of spamming the sorcery Rock Sling while mimic tear takes aggro.
By tuned too low do you mean they are going to buff the boss?
The boss would be the coolest fight in the series to fight if there were like 200-300 more milliseconds of her telegraphing her attacks, because whenever she telegraphs an attack you have to dodge in a specific direction to avoid getting hit by a follow up, but my reactions just aren't fast enough.
Anyways, made it to Leyndell proper and got the tree sentinel set. I think I'm going to go do one of those rune farming methods so I can use it, because it's probably the most ostentatious thing I've seen so I have to wear it.

Are there any weapons that natively do S rank DEX scaling or do they all require dumping an Ash on them?
I just fought giant enemy lobsters and one turned into a bloodborne sperg out monster when it dies that took me six tries to beat because it has absurdly long combos that all look the fucking same. And then in the same area more or less there was an ambush of those gay casters AND another Bloodborne sperg out monster that shoots acid and charges and jumps all over the place and was just absolutely unfun to fight. I feel like this game really wants me to use a giant fucking shield at times.
If I was Bethesderp I'd be worried right now. If From releases their own modding tools this could be the Elder Scrolls killer everyone said was impossible.

I think they're still different enough game styles to do their own things effectively, but god damn Bethesda does need to make combat actually interesting. Felt like it hasn't changed since Morrowind, incredibly bland shit.
On a more related note, does Elden Ring have any sort of sunlight covenant equivalent? I want to be incandescent when I help others.
So I just got to the credits. All I can say is that its a fantastic game. I am immediately starting my Xbox playthrough now that I am done on PC, and am really excited to go back in knowing what I know now. I guess here are some random tips again.
-I respecced a good amount at the end of the game, and still had some left over. Like I think I respecced 7 or 8 times and still had tears so do not be scared to change it up. I was trying to hit a sweet spot with heavy armor and shields.
-As I mentioned before weapon upgrades are basically infinite besides the final tier, Ancient Dragon, so dont be hesitant to upgrade a gimmick weapon if you like it.
-The mimic summon is really OP. It will use anything on your bars like estus, food, grenades, spells etc. I used it to farm souls in Haligtree while I ate lunch. It costs health instead of mana, and can almost solo end game bosses itself. After getting it I never summoned another player, because the mimic was just straight better than anyone that could come in.
-Shield bash+spike shield can stunlock red invaders if you are having issues. I just spammed it on them anytime I had one giving me trouble.
-Only certain walking mausoleums can duplicate secret boss remembrances, so if you encounter one that doesnt let you duplicate its probably for a secret boss.
-If you see giant skeletons, they are summons and you need to kill the mob summoning them to make them go away, usually its snails.
-There is kind of a point of no return in one of the final areas, will spoiler below with only the zone names
If you kill the final boss in Farum Azula it will change Leyndall, making most of the city inaccessible.
My favorite game of the last few years and I cannot stop thinking about it. All I want to do is play more.
I have just defeated the Fallingstar Beast at level 52, and it reminded me why I liked the Souls series so much.
I absolutely hate this fucking boss, not only do you get sent to his shitty dungeon through a trapped chest, you also have to deal with his stupidly large hitboxes and annoying timing. However, at the same time, I love this boss' challenge, it made me go out of my comfort zone of a single weapon and a shield and spurred my creativity to think of ways to defeat it. In the end, my brilliant plan was to double-wield two colossal swords while butt-naked so I didn't fat roll. I mean, I could have replaced the gargoyle head with some good armor, but that isn't fun, you know? Here's the end result:

Well, finally beat that fucking cunt Malenia, so I've done pretty much every achievement for the game outside of the other endings and I'm missing one legendary weapon and sorcery. Kinda want to go back and play through the souls trilogy now to see how I feel about them after Elden Ring.
I wasn't convinced by Mimic Tear since I'm kinda squishy so it seemed worse than Oleg, but then I accidentally summoned it with my seal out while I had a bunch of super spells equipped to test them out and holy shit
