Ok so Sony is buying FromSoftware

It was good while it lasted, fellas.
Oh fuck, this was just about the last studio who's games I enjoyed and weren't full of social justice, gays, and bullshit micro transactions.

Maybe anti capitalists have a point. Elden Ring but made by California troons sounds terrible.

New patch is nice. Godslayer's sword feels even better to use now.

There's now a pop-up in the newbie cave, reassuring you that jumping down the hole isn't a trick and is where the tutorial section is. Apparently a lot of people were surprised by its existence.

This player base is retarded.

I can't fathom how so many people missed the tutorial. I saw an item on a ledge in that cave, saw the hole, noticed it looked super survivable and jumped down assuming it led to that item. Are people just fucking blind?

Alternatively, and the most likely explanation, is that the vast majority of players who missed the tutorial were first time players of FromSoft game so they are not used to the lack of handholding that goes on.

There's a ghost that tells you to jump in the hole to "remember the art of battle" or something. That's pretty blatant. Are there still a lot of bloodstains in the "boss room?"

honestly they should just use the rainbow stones to lead people to the tutorial area, will be a big payoff later.

So the Volcano Manor multi hit illusionary doors are corrected and the Blood dogs seem to have been fixed so no more one shot.

LMFAO @ people scared that From is gonna go woke;
> Marika/Radagon is trans
> Miquella was a shotashit who compelled people into becoming obsessed with him
> Mpreg

George is probably at this moment writing more incest pedo futanari for the next game, instead of writing GoT lol

1) this is not woke shit, this is just japanese shit, not the same
2) it's not rubbed in your face, I have no idea what or who you are talking about and I've got like... I don't know, I'm past level 100 I don't know how many hours that is I'm not a faggot and keep track of that.

Either way, fromsoftware lore is for faggots and spergs and 99% of players have no idea what happened in any of those games.

"ahaha did you know that Miquella is a trans shota dragonfu you shitlord?" - some faggot
"uh, which boss is that, the one with the very big arm or the wolf thing in the church, or like, the bitch with big tits kinda towards the end?' - 99% of players

They're probably similar to the crater heads that play Undertale and unironically applaud when the game that tells them 'violence bad, peaceful solutions good' in the tutorial that yes, the game that once told you in its steam trailer you don't have to kill anything allows you to not kill anything.

Anyways, I'll be testing the spells changed and post what I find put under a spoiler. It'll have fp/damage ratio and if they're probably useful for NG+ or late game mobbing based on how fast it is. It won't have frame data, but I CAN test it by going through Capital, Farum Azula, and Castle Sol, while testing damage against the most consistent enemy in ER: the Godrick Knight by the Gatefront site of grace.

The Moon spells seem a little faster but the recovery definitely is faster.

A) New players thinking it's a trap after the tutorial boss ate them for a snack
B) Not-so-new players thinking it's a lot harder to go back up than it is to get down, and seeing what else is around before considering throwing themselves down a possible-doom pit because people in Soulsbourne games never lie to you, no sir.
C) "Fuck all that reading bullshit, that's for nerds!"
