Radagon is fine. The fact that I can’t see the giant boss between the bullet spam is the greater annoyance. Although Radagon turning in a dime is also annoying.

Gnosticism is so fucking gay and is 10 times worse when Japs do it because, rather than actually delve into the religion, they smugly proclaim how their shitty gods are superior to Judeo-Christianity one true god.

Gnosticism is neat when you realize it’s basically the original parasite mystery cult. When I say parasite I mean that it latches on to other religions. It’s been kicking around since Babylon and it’s why I can understand genocide.

As a setting it’s boring. I don’t care for Lovecraft either, but Gnosticism is basically just gayer Nihilism. “Everything is a lie, God created you just so he could torture you!” Like even with Sophia it’s just boring.

The Japanese typically just use Christianity to criticize Buddhism or to stroke their ego’s to the philosophy of some German incel.

They already did. Scadutree blessings now have slightly more of an effect across the board, and a noticeably higher effect at lower levels of blessing. Basically people who don't explore and just slam into the bosses with 2-4 levels of blessing don't get fucked as as hard. I'd also expect a patch later that buffs some of the spells because a bunch of them are completely useless e.g. divine bird feathers.

Considering a bunch of the new spells are just palette swaps or have a status sprinkled on top, it's odd that they didn't keep similar damage profiles. Generally, I'm not a fan of spells/AoWs being straight upgrades with zero downsides but many of these new ones are downgrades.

That sounds like a uniquely Megami Tensei thing, I don't think you can say the same for the Greater Will since it isn't really malicious and it definitely isn't overshadowed within the world or story by its alternatives.
It is really fucking bizarre how obsessed the Japanese are with Gnosticism, though. Maybe when you live in a society that encourages societal conformity and total subservience to one's superiors at the expense of individual happiness it becomes comforting to imagine that the woes of your life are the result of demiurgic tyranny, when the real dilemma is being born Asian.

Yeah, the (game and anime-making) Japs' love affairs with German words, Gnosticism, and vaguely Christian occult trappings is probably just them thinking it looks and sounds cool. For all the shit that gets flung at Japan we don't pick on them nearly enough for making surface-level amalgams of cool-looking stuff with no understanding just like western weebs get called out for.
 
Finally made it to the Radahn fight. What the fuck. There were other fights that were tough, but he is legitimately a whole level above anything else. I get that Miyazaki wants it to be hard so it's lore accurate and shit, but this mother fucker won't give me a second to breathe, let alone attack or heal.

A lot of these people playing don't have thought out endgame builds. They likely don't even know what soft caps are and potentially ran into the DLC right as they rushed to Mohg at level 100. They are very likely doing less than 400 damage to the DLC bosses with their low scadu blessing level.
