Unlike every other Mercy player in high rank at the time, who mostly just seemed to abuse her ultimate Resurrect by hiding behind a wall until the whole team died, so they could then press Q, bring all 5 of their teammates back to life and pad out their stats so the system thinks they were better than they were, Eevee was actually a big proponent of the tempo res, AKA only bringing up one or two teammates back to life. While this was the correct way to play, it made it harder to abuse the system like this. Here's a guide from 2017 explaining it, mostly for archival purposes.

He was often praised for his very specific callouts and good game-sense. In a game where most players call everything that's half HP or less as "low" or "one hit", EeveeA was out here calling how many bars in the healthbar a character had. To this day I have never seen anyone else do that. Here's another video from a different YouTuber that showcases this well if you're interested. He's keeping track of his friendly Sombra's hack cooldown and calling out engagements depending on that, constantly keeping track of deaths, ultimates and other cooldown abilities at a time where it wasn't done often, if at all. Especially not on ladder. Skip to 2:55, 6:20, 7:24, 8:20 and 10:50 for some examples.

After this EeveeA started to fade away from relevance. The Mercy rework happened which almost killed the game and cemented most Mercy players as completely demented. He was still invited to other channels to discuss balance regarding the hero and rework ideas, but he sort of fizzled out after 2018. Other Mercy one-tricks rose to prominece, growing their streams and making guides on how tobug abuse superjump. EeveeA seemed to lose interest in the game, hovering around Masters during the twilight years of Overwatch 1, going from "The best Mercy in the WORLD(tm)" to "that guy that was so good at Mercy in 2016/17 that he became a woman".
In his spare time he seemed to become one of those people that spend more time on Twitter complaining about the game and community than actually playing it. I go into some detail about this in this post, but if what I'm hearing is true, he gathered quite the reputation for throwing a hissy fit at everyone and everything calling out toxic and problematic behaviour in the community. It seems that not even /r/OverwatchTMZ likes him, and a large chunk of them also spend large ammounts of time crying about "problematic behaviour".
I don't know if the trooning out was the cause of this or if it was simply just another Overwatch streamer that failed to maintain relevance during the game's rougher years. The one other mention of EeveeA I found on this site was a post made by whore loving dragon in the Obscure Laughingstocks thread with a big screenshot that alludes to this, but I wouldn't say he has a dead channel at this point. In fact he is/was seemingly slowly coming back to relevance. I can't know for sure what his numbers where because I admittedly never really watched his content, much less recently, but he couldn't have been doing that badly with the perks he is getting.
You see, he is one of Blizzard's Chosen (tm). The handpicked number of streamers and YouTubers that get special treatment such as getting to play the OW2 Alpha/Beta early, getting to play new heroes first, have the ability to actually talk and interview the devs to ask them what the fuck is going on during times where the devs are otherwise dead silent on their plans, and even access to an exclusive little Discord where they can complain and suggest balance changes! All of the low, low price of completely losing your credibility.

In 2020, he decided to come out again, this time as a VTuber, maybe this helped him regain some revelance, but I would guess he's definitely doing well now because of Blizzard intervention. That's pretty much everything that I found important from the doc, aside from the sections on suicide baiting, but I don't think anyone here will be surprised that he does that. And that's the story so far. EeveeA has been silent for 17 hours now on his public account. It could be that we never hear from him again, or it could be that this is the start of a severe downward spiral, I think it's too early to tell. Either way I thank EeveeA for finally giving me the creative spark to combine my two unhealthy passions in life, Overwatch and Kiwifarms, and I thank you, the viewer! Also you might have noticed I sometimes refer to EeveeA as "her" in this write-up. Eevee trooned out in 2017, and as "misgendering" became less and less acceptable, I've basically gotten used to the pronoun game with her by now. I never really force myself to use "true" pronouns because I find it as obnoxious as forcing myself to use "preferred" pronouns, but I'll be happy to change it all to "he" if it makes for an easier read.
