Was active in at least one LiveJournal community at the time when it was happening and it was a sight to see. Sadly, a lot of the LiveJournal side of things have been lost to time, account purges, and trolls remorse so ED is the only place there's any information left on the event. I'm honestly surprised that none of these art/fandom commentary channels have done any sort of retrospective on it or a "where are they now" deal with some of the key players involved if they felt like talking about it.
 
ED needs to be preserved, if only as a repository of, as someone called it earlier, the Old Internet. It can be a place for old-timers to reminisce, a place where younger users can learn of the origin of certain, maybe more obscure, Internet memes and sayings. And its wiki format led to some humorous (at least initially) link trails (such as "The last time /b/ was good" ---> "Never").

Well, I liked it anyway

Good riddance. I was once in their discord and they had a little girl use it alongside retards who post gore and iffy shit. Also the first time I'm exposed to (near) CSAM content, which was switch and bait to FBI but it was still a little kid appearing to be seductive.

Can't lie and say they weren't usually funny if not hilarious, but the sus shit on their discord makes me care less.
EDIT: I would like to mention the CSAM bait was deleted pretty quickly, but the underage was around less that 11 years old using the server without much contest to her presence.

I don't mind gore in the slightest. Went through their offended page and learned about church of fudge, 3 guys 1 hammer, mr hands, and read about nick bate and chris chan far back in the day on ED. The issue is that shit is posted coinciding a minor using the server and them not bothering to kick her out. I had been on their server back in 2021 for 2 months or so, so they had plenty of time to do so but kept her on board.

EDIT: I wish I had an archive of those conversations still available. I had a bunch of screenshots of them back in the day but they're lost now. There wasn't any solicitation or anything similarly directly dangerous to the child, but it is still concerning the same site that has had a history of fucked up mods have a kid in their discord server.

Their Discord? Huh? I didn't know they had a Discord. I saw a link on the top of the wiki before but when I tried to click it, it said the link had expired.

I'm all for keeping minors out of discord, but at a certain point you can't blame anyone but them. ED is dead, the only way an underage would even know about them is if they specifically sought out that kind of edgy content(for whatever reason). Kids being exposed to gore, shock porn, blue waffles and what have you isn't new on ED and even you yourself said there doesn't seem to be any evidence of grooming so I don't see the issue. You might as well complain that soyjak.party, another site popular with minors, constantly posts dead nigger babies and avocado's asshole

Is that so? Fuck. Probably down due to discord moderation. I would have looked into it by next week and attempt to verify my claims. Can't say I'm entirely relieved without knowing if the mods of that server were reported to authorities cause of it, but perhaps they had a wake up call. Just hope this was an anomaly and nothing dangerous actually happened.

I can't lie and say I wasn't that kid as well. But it's more alarming that the kid used to post pictures of her face on there, so there was a possibility some sick fuck would learn how to dox her. And some child browsing ED can't have a good grasp on decision-making when using their server, if being a child on discord wasn't alarming enough. Like I said, I hope nothing serious happened out of it as you suggest. It just creeps me to be talking as an adult about extreme shit within the ballpark of a juvenile. Seems too volatile to be safe.

I literally got banned from KnowYourMeme for posting this image in "Two Soyjaks Pointing". It's run by trannies. They wouldn't allow a Pooner entry. They're permissive in most everything else, but they, like almost all wikis, are compromised by trannies.

Looks like they always had a donation page btw (archive) and none of the crypto addresses have been changed? web-archive

From what I can see, they lost the domain because they're retarded and forgot to renew it. Somebody did buy the domain though, but how did they have a backup of the site updated all the way to 3-4 days ago? archive edit history

And if it's malicous, why haven't the crypto addresses changed?

I should know better than to expect any kind of logic when it comes to this site, feels like something doesn't quite add up though.
