Here's the current state of .wiki--
  1. Literally nobody has touched the website in over a month.
  2. The website has been down for a week, with no sign of restoration.
  3. Assnapkins & his .wiki account have been suspended from Twitter.
  4. The trademark is still being processed, though considering that it's both disputed and there's no tangible product, it might die before it even begins.

Just want to update this thread saying that the ED database (specifically the one from .es) has been cracked and your password is now floating around online.
Not sure of the actual source but google informed me of it and the leak was accurate!

Hope you didn't use the same password in multiple places!

A lot of places getting hit recently my schizo brain says it’s all connected but my sensible brain says it’s ED and this happens all the time.

ED’s continued and prolonged existence is always baffling to me. It’s an admittedly often fun site to visit but it’s such a bygone relic of the 2000’s/early2010s Internet that it’s become too dated to really be of any use anymore, Unless you wanted to read ancient articles about D-list lolcows and memes that haven’t been relevant since 2010 that you’d have to be a massive nerd to understand anyway, written in ‘supah seckret’ 4chan lingo with constant edgy swearing and ranting that makes almost every article impossible to read. Admittedly the site was like the farms for me before here but it’s refusal to adapt and modernise has caused it to crumble and it’s best just laying dead now.

You have us exact. Are you suggesting we should delete all the old articles? Because that's not the purpose of Encyclopedia Dramatica.

ED is there to preserve internet culture. It is precisely to archive early 2000-2010, and will do so for decades to come.

If you want newFag trendy shit, there are plenty of sites that will fit your needs, i.e. Reddit and TikTok.

This is the equivalent of complaining that a Library has old books.
