Environmentalist groups lately in the past few years, especially the Extinction Rebellion and Scientist Rebellion have been known for their outrageous acts of activism such as staging "die ins":

and gluing themselves to the floor of car dealerships, among other things:

These groups usually call for something to be done about climate change and/or global warming. Their solutions from what I have seen so far amount to having the rich pay for everything or getting the IMF to cancel the debt of developing countries so they can transition to clean energy.

Several of them have formed something called the A22 Network:

As things around the world continue to heat up politically, the antics of these organizations should not stop anytime soon but I imagine they will provide a lot of entertainment.

More like, allowing the rich to continue doing and eating whatever the fuck they want while the average joe lives in a slum, eats insects en pays 99% of their paycheck to third worlders and gay people
Not even just the rich. There's plenty of these screeching autists who don't even follow the same rules they want you to have to live with. Why the fuck should anyone take anything they say seriously if not even they do.

The fact that most environmental protests inconvenience the common folk (such as blocking roadways and restaurants and shit) instead of the people who actually have the power to enact change (such as blockading government buildings) demonstrates that the people who run these don't truly care about the environment, they're just upset the common folk are able to afford meat and a pickup truck an want them to feel bad about it. These enviro-wienies are tools of the elites and they can eat my hairy ass.

Gotta say though, getting paid by Soros or whoever to sleep on the floor in a "die-in" sounds like my kinda work.💤

There is a pattern here. The vast majority of the climate activists like Greta are young girls from wealthy families. They feel guilty for living luxuriously while being indoctrinated about the starving kids in Africa, and how climate change will kill them all. Also women are simply more emotional, that's why they hate nuclear energy, despite it being the best solution to the energy crisis, they just think about one-off events like Fukushima and Chernobyl.
And of course these girls don't care if your steak costs twice as much or if energy prices double. They are naive, dogmatic idiots.

I wonder why it's specifically the Van Gogh incident that has been generating broad pushback. I'm glad people are finally turning on these cunts for their 'tactics' but they've been pulling this same dipshit stunt in museums all over Europe for months at this point.

Attenionwhores. The whole lot of them. These same people would advocate for big oil if they can get the prestige of being in some magazine covers and talk shows.

Just so happens that these fools are being used by globohomo to institute their carbon tax. Just like Greta before.

These protestors are all just rich theater kids or 'artists' who think that acting like a retard in public is somehow profound.

LMFAO, funded by a literal oil heiress. Aileen Getty is such a POS. Born with every privilege in the world, but instead of just living comfortably and settling down somewhere quaint she has spent her whole life 'rebelling'. Managed to get HIV in the 80s while married, either from getting rawdogged or doing drugs. Since then, she's made it her life's work to spend a fortune inflicting her idiocy on normal working people the world over. This is why I especially hate rich people in this day and age. 100 years ago magnates and society ladies got eccentric hobbies, built enormous but beautiful vanity projects, or sometimes even tried to do some genuine good for everyday people. Nowadays they deal with their fucked up neuroticism, guilt, and general inability to function by spending every single dime of their money trying to fuck with and control people who are already struggling to survive. She could fall off a bridge tomorrow and the world would be a better place.

Seriously, when's the last time one of these rich assholes plowed millions into just helping normal people pay for health insurance or dental care? It's always got to be about me, me, me and my braindead, out-of-touch cause. It's so avant-garde and rebellious to fund other rich assholes who will never amount to anything, so they can waste food destroying priceless artwork - public artwork that's being displayed so that us sorry slobs can look at it and feel some semblance of peace in a shitty world.

Thank goodness someone started a thread about the SOBs. American Thinker posted a good rant about the ones glued at VW's Porsche pavillon.

Volkswagen leaves glued green fanatics to stew in their own excrement

By Monica Showalter

Greenie glue activists were at it again in Europe, gluing themselves to things of value to protest fossil fuels.
This time, they were in for a surprise.
Apparently viewing new German cars as the equivalent of museum-quality art -- hey, some people do -- they glued themselves to the floor of the Volkswagen Autostadt's Porsche Pavillion in Wolfsburg, Germany to protest, similar to the way many other green activists have been gluing themselves to art masterpieces in Europe's museums for the same reason.
According to the Daily Mail:
Eco-demonstrators who glued themselves to the floor of a Volkswagen factory then moaned that their hands hurt and they could not go to the toilet have been arrested.
Nine activists from the Scientist Rebellion group broke into Autostadt, a museum and car showroom opposite Volkswagen's main factory in Wolfsburg, late on Wednesday and glued themselves to the floor of the Porsche pavilion.
They vowed to continue their protest until Volkswagen agreed to lobby ministers to decarbonise the transport industry.
But they began complaining after just a few hours that they had no food and staff had refused to bring them a bowl to defecate in.
What happened here is that the efficient German staff, undoubtedly acting in clockwork fashion, advised the protestors of the pavillion hours and when the protestors wouldn't leave, locked up for the night -- with the protestors inside. Unlike the museum staffers, who called the cops on them and had them hauled off, these practical no-nonsense Germans decided instead to ... leave them there.
It was cold, dark, and since they were glued to the floor, uncomfortable, as they couldn't go to the bathroom. If they had to go, they had to ... do it in their suits, it seems.
Which seems like fitting punishment, given that these protestors, who called themselves Scientist Rebellion, didn't seem to plan much of anything, and certainly didn't seem to understand the connection between fossil fuels and heated rooms.

I wonder why it's specifically the Van Gogh incident that has been generating broad pushback.

If I were to guess, I'd say it's because he's a beloved artist, whose work has recently been widely and publicly celebrated in a touring "immersive exposition", and he's at least familiar to just about everyone. The destructive urge driving the defacement, the arrogance of the people carrying it out, and the fact that they're deliberately targeting pieces of our shared history, have pushed a lot of people over the edge. They can tolerate a lot of inconvenience, but destruction or defacement of art - specifically beautiful art, like the sunflowers - seems to be a distinct line in the sand.

I get that, what I mean is that they've been doing this retarded vandalize-an-infamoua-work-of-art stunt for months and months now and nobody has said anything about it until this specific incident. It's not like Boticelli's paintings are any less famous than Van Gogh's.

I was about to mention that particular event. The protesters also complained about volkswagen not givng them a bowl to shit and piss in. Though I would wager that Volkswagen has to decontaminate the Porsche pavillion once they have ripped these wanna be protesters from the floor.

Also they casue ten thousands of damage in art museums because the paintings have to be carefully restored. And to make matters worse museums now implement sharp controls like "no jackets" etc for guests. So repeat after me: they.are.terrorists.

Here's some more faggotry from Just Stop Oil (cross-post from their thread).

They blocked a road in Islington (and got arrested LMAO):

And spraypainted the window of Harrods while sitting down in the street:

As a bonus, here's an article defending these shitty protests that only hurt the common man and saying that they're Good, Actually.

An activist connected to Extinction Rebellion glued himself to a desk in a live appearance on a talk show. He had been invited to talk about a recent incident where some other activists glued themselves to a painting in the Hague.

Also in Germany, a pair of activists glued themselves to a dinosaur display, specifically the support poles holding up the fossil.
