Epithet Erased is a this series that's on going over at Jello's channel. The premise of the series is that, in this world, Some people are born these special abilities called "Epithets". Epithets are essentially the "Quirks" from MHA, but the abilities that someone can have from these are broader and vary depending on the theme of them (for example: if your epithet was "Spicy" you can all kinds of things with it as long as they relate to something "spicy").

The story follows this little girl named Molly with her Epithet: "Dumb". She was just on a trip to the museum with her dad when suddenly, she falls asleep on the floor. After awakening, she finds herself in a situation that's far bigger than herself.

The series already has 5 episodes out (currently three on YouTube and all five in VRV). If you're interested in giving the series a watch you can go ahead and watch the first episode down here.

From what I can tell, they're releasing an episode on their YouTube channel every friday.

I like the method of animation, it's simple but it allows an animation simpleton like myself understand that it's easier to make.
However the entire thing is very teenage girly.
Good to see more indie animations.

I didn't like it but I support the fact its (mostly) independently produced.

Online cartoons are like my only solace these days

Not a fan at all and I definitely wouldn't pay money to watch this on a streaming service. Jello has a very cute artstyle and I love the character designs in this show, but the writing and voice acting leave a lot to be desired. The protaginst in particular is super annoying.
As for animation, I'm personally not a fan, the characters look nice enough and have expressive enough poses to keep me visually entertained, but in a project that was advertised as being something you would need to pay for a service to watch I expected something a bit more professional. Now that it's on youtube I'm inclined to be a little more forgiving as it is of higher quality than the rest of his content, but still.

There are other ways to watch the rest of the episodes without paying for the service. Would have to agree though, having to pay for a service just so I can watch the other episodes is pretty dumb.
