That is an essay question with a lot of potential.
The quick and short of it is the way he talks and behaves. His enthusiasm to mimic Metokur is barely concealed and combined with his inability to nail comedic timing demonstrates to me that spoken communication is an activity still fairly new to him. The lack of confidence in himself is not subtle and the moment he walked out into a taped MMA event pushing a mentally disabled man adorned in a cheap “indian” headdress accompanied by a bloated alcoholic in a toga told us everything.
To wit, he was dressed like he is running to Wal-Mart to pick up double A batteries at 11pm even though he knew this was a very public moment. The absolute cherry on top of that mess was the fucking luchadore mask which paired so well with the Kevin Smith cosplay he was doing from the neckdown. Keep in mind this was deliberate and planned, this isn’t Gator getting caught by surprise or an impromptu thing. Gator really thought that was going to come off as something other than amusingly cringe and demonstrates just how much self awareness he possesses. Very little.
NGL I hate men like sargon and I have a bit of a distaste for men like ethan ralph (who once in a while jokes or refers to cheating on his wife although he doesnt openly talk about her miscarriage or rape like sargon, or openly berate her like rand did, thus I'm not completely repulsed)... but gators shortcomings you've described here, not understanding social cues or emulating men like metokur, who, in my opinion, are better masculine figures, does not come from that same place of moral selfishness or malice. Naivete is more fitting. Social Ignorance due to inexperience rather than willfulness, which maybe I shouldnt always see this way, but I tend to see as more "innocent" and thus more forgiving.
Jesus Christ it just occurred to me, what if Ethan Ralph is the nearest thing he has to a mentor in life? That is depressing.
See, yeah, that really fucking bums me out too, for the aforementioned reasons. Ralph flexes by belittling people to keep them in line. The only people metokur treats like that in public are lolcows. I think metokur is a better masculine figure than ralph. But he and gator arent close like that, as far as I know.
Listening to his interactions with AydinPaladin is another giant set of data points. Women with her background and diagnoses get hypersexual in banter with men very quickly and how men react to that is revealing. Men who have had some healthy relationships and don’t think/talk about women like they are lizards sampling the air with their tongues and running probability functions in their minds about genetic samples of mating prospects, understand what Aydin is and always proceed very cautiously. Others will see her as ideal material for mistreatment, while others still will be dazzled by the banter and think she’s just a super cool chick with no filter. Guess which one describes Gator?
Let's say that he does know what "type" of woman aydin is, and that she shouldnt be taken seriously when she isflirtatious. ( I'll be honest, I very much dislike her, and couldnt stomach the gator time that featured her, so I'm sorry if I miss the mark)... well, some experience with a woman is better than no experience. I'm not surprised that he would interact with a woman who wants to interact with him in an overly pleasant manner and appear to welcome her advances and niceness. That's better than openly keeping her at a distance. Could also be his naivete. Or maybe hes a nice guy who assumes the best in everyone, not just that "type" of woman who is a loose goose.
However, I mean, to hear that he tried to help a youtuber whose most popular video is... playing with her tits in a heavily patted bra... sort of hurts my hope that he wasnt the worst of what you suspect in terms of how he approaches women...
FWIW in contemporary America, the development of straight men is culturally entwined with their romantic partnerships with women. The initial impulse might be the desire to spray your DNA inside of her, but when sex gets demystfied after awhile and the nature of the romantic relationship is such that the female partner actually teaches the male quite a bit about social interactions. Confidence is gained because women go from being an unexperinced mystery to something familiar to ourselves, understandable and predictable. Comfortable.
Gator isn’t comfortable with women. He isn’t comfortable with himself. Gator’s sedentary lifestyle may have saddled him with a tubby appearance and a GaMeR BeArD, but that aesthetic is just fine with plenty of available women out there. Being stuck in the Gaming/Dissident Right world had probably deprived him of a few personal milestones and limited his vision to the potential out there.
I cant argue with this, thank you... and tbh, what you said about how his appearance wouldn't be the deal breaker if he was more confident and assured of himself, or did better things to help his look, (when I mentioned haircuts, the easiest thing that makes a huge difference)... I mean, the personality you're describing and the fact that these are the women he will welcome, that's the thing that would give someone like me pause.
Appearances alone, how people reacted to me by saying things like "you're the only one on earth who could be sexually attracted to him!"... I dont really believe that,

A little late, been sick with the flu. After Ralph's little tirade here about not knowing PPP and definitely not doxxing him. A few hours later, Alister (a rando kiwi in this thread) facebook pictures were dropped on cow, then pictures of PPP and his family yet again.
