My best guess about what happened is that he and Dick had a show set up, and naturally he assumed he could crash at his house because Dick has been known to welcome obese drunk and drugged out piggies in his living quarters. Realizing that all hotel rooms are occupied due to fire evacuations, and if not they are priced like the Super Bowl is in town, this ultimate betrayal earned Dick the "BISH" treatment.
