It's like an apathy parade, is my personal favorite expression.I've always been puzzled by the concept of organized atheism. To borrow a comparison, people who play golf get together to play golf. People who don't play golf don't get together to NOT play golf.
That's cuz "MUHSLIMZ R OPPRESSED" and "CHRISTIANS CAN NEVER BE OPPRESSED"So, I'd figure I'd leave my two cents here.
I am somewhat of a spiritual and religious person. But with that being said, I can understand why one would choose to be an atheist and just not think about it or have to worry about divinity, the afterlife, or the supernatural. I get that.
What I don't get is the fact that these people have made such a big deal out of not believing, they've become dogmatic and behave just like the religious fanatics they claim to despise. Especially the SJW secular humanist assholes. The fedora-clad neckbeards are typical run-of-the-mill nihilists and while they are repulsive, they're honesty not as grating as the SJW Atheism+ types, mainly because the nihilistic fedora men have no sway in media or academia and are just pathetic edgelords.
I can understand the atheists speaking up against organized religion's excesses back in the days when the Christian Religious Right held a lot of sway in American cultural and political discourse, but in all honesty, the Religious Right has been essentially dead and irrelevant since the late 2000's and the SJW's have taken their place as America's resident moral authoritarians. Now, the major source of religious oppression is coming from the Islamic world, and I never see these SJW's criticize the fundamentalism found in Islam.
TL;DR-Fuck secular humanism
That's cuz "MUHSLIMZ R OPPRESSED" and "CHRISTIANS CAN NEVER BE OPPRESSED"
A good magician know the best mind makes the greatest fool, because it oftmakes the fallacy of there being some grand reason for anything out of necessity. They will find anyway to assert that only the most elaborate ruses can best them, and turn their backs on the idea that lesser means can do the same.YEP. Seems no matter how intelligent or controlled someone may seem, there is still a chance they are have a festering vulnerability that will allow them to suspend their disbelief when the opportunity arises. A lot of it seems to be interwoven with the desire to meaningfully participate in a community, which is why a lot of exceptionally intelligent people join weird orthodox religions or cults - everyone wants to find their place, and depending on the intensity of their desire they will slather heavy layers of cognitive dissonance to make that happen. Smart people do silly things sometimes too.
Kinda surreal that I was talking to a killer
so much for being a feminist alsoKolpalov's dead woman has been confirmed by police as his girlfriend, Heather Anable. She is the girl cosplaying as Poison Ivy in his videos. Suddenly, his commentary on how Muslims treat their wives becomes much more interesting.

He should be more concerned about a weight loss book rather than where the bibles areView attachment 228305
This guy should put his love life in there as well.
I'm confused what section the Bible would have been in to begin with. Most bookstores I know are much more specific than just "fiction" and "non-fiction", and would file a bible in with "philosophy" or "religious studies", both of which are accurate.Notice how they always go "GUYS THE BIBLE NEEDS TO BE IN FICTION!!!" but they never try that shit with the Torah or Koran
Or outdated atlases and science books. Seriously, "non-fiction" doesn't necessarily mean "true."Notice how they always go "GUYS THE BIBLE NEEDS TO BE IN FICTION!!!" but they never try that shit with the Torah or Koran
The literary genre would be mythology, the academic section theology (where they are mostly stored).I'm confused what section the Bible would have been in to begin with. Most bookstores I know are much more specific than just "fiction" and "non-fiction", and would file a bible in with "philosophy" or "religious studies", both of which are accurate.
But then, I'm expecting a euphoric to pick up a book... so I'm the dumb one.
