Here's a thought I had while capping the above, and would like to put to you for discussion. All of the usual white knights like to go on and on about how constant language-policing is necessary to save the Burn Book, and if they don't stop swearing and spread the good word of our lord and savior the Announcements Tab it will get removed forever. But would that really be so bad? Where's the value in a group that exists solely to bully an individual, but you have to walk on eggshells and censor yourself to do so? Facebook groups are a dime a dozen, cost nothing to create, destroy or maintain, so why hang onto it if it causes so much stress and conflict?
Me personally, I think it's because Ash Leigh enjoys the modicum of popularity and control this sad little group gives her, and enjoys the martyrdom of hanging from her cross having her brow mopped by simps like Eric Townsend as she laments her flock who simply will not stop saying the words crap and loser.
