Following a random musing, I've set up a Social Board feature.

If you're an integrated member, you should be able to see the Cliques category.
If you're a senior member, you should also see a Create Social Board. This applies to old-time members and supporters by default.

This has a complicated web of permissions, but the gist is: You can create your own subforum. Off-topic users can apply to join, post in them if they're open, or whatever. It's like 8chan. You can even set your own social mods.

This is an experiment. People in chat have whined about the size of the board. Now you can whittle it down to exactly the size you want. If it does well, if people can figure out how to get things going, and if there's little drama regarding it, I will set up something similar for the Lolcow board.

If it goes to shit I'll delete the feature and dump all the content into Off-Topic.

I was thinking about making a Traditional Gaming board for the Clique's category. Mostly because the gaming board has a great deal of threads that are mostly based on a specific tabletop game a few users are apart of. If I do make one, could we have a moderator move the existing threads into it's specific board?

do it before I beat you to it

Sounds like fun, but I can't think of a board to make...

If you make a tech support board you have a willing moderator right here:P

My tech support knowledge starts and stops with my ability to use google-fu, I don't think I'd do well in a tech support forum, unless you were suggesting I just moderate and make sure people stay on topic.

Is the ability to change the avatar going to be implemented? Each time I try and change it it tells me "Your avatar's file size is too large. Please upload an avatar no bigger than 0 bytes."

This is fixed.

You said its available to supporters, but I don't see any option for me.
