For those breathlessly waiting to find out if Exulansic is Mohawk, I have results!
And those results are: maybe?
Her family has been in the St. Lawrence area for generations, but I have found nothing in the way of tribal connections. All census and other relevant records claim they are white. This is almost certainly a case of family lore, and I'm disappointed that she's using unproven (and more importantly, unpracticed) tribal affiliation for SJW influence. This is the sort of thing that gets people removed from tenure positions and subjects otherwise intelligent and well-spoken people to ridicule.
During my research I found that she could join DAR several times over. Her maternal grandmother was born to parents who immigrated from Italy around 1900. Her paternal grandmother was descended from Danish immigrant LDS handcart pioneers! And several branches of her tree have been in Quebec since the 1600s. There's so much family history to be proud of, but she's pretending to be native for what?
Chasing fake ancestry for clout is bullshit. Even if you have legit native ancestry it doesn't mean shit if you weren't raised with tribal traditions and culture. Be proud of who you REALLY are.
