I would say it initially started liberal in the older sense of not religious, against the 1%, okay with drugs etc etc. But as time went on it shifted into the modern form were it's the annoying overly progressive culture war style.
There used to be a time were people would try to come up with puns to make light of really dark news stories. Nowadays you can't say retard. There was definitely a change over time.

I only actively used and enjoyed FP for a few years in the early 10s, but I still felt attached to it afterwards. I knew it went to shit long before the move to KO but I lurked KO anyway trying to ignore the faggotry that's now the majority of it and get a crumb of the old experience.
What made me register on KF after just lurking it occasionally was seeing the KO post saying this thread is mostly old FPers. I realized this is closer to what I want than any other forum is.

I am so confused by the amount of boxes, one would think the average knockout user would DESPISE someone like shadman but they are defending him? and are defending not censoring art when they themselves are super pro censorship.

That's one reason, the other is being coom brained losers. Think about it, they are
autists (in the medical sense) who barely leave their homes, meaning they will rarely interact with women.
They will spend a lot of time on their pcs watching porn or anime, thats where they get their ideas of how women are/act. I wish I was kidding but from the top of my head I can think of three users who fit the description, they all start watching an anime with a trap in it (back then it was steins gate), find some furry comic with a femboy type of character, start obsessing over said character and talk about it with other users, this is where someone implants the idea they are trans and it all goes downhill from there.
Oh and another thing: a lot of users were gay or bisexual simply out of desperation since sheltered and socially inept nerds don't go out a lot, so they find other desperate and socially inept horny nerds to have an online relationship (all while posting nothing but anime/furry girls)

It's the only way it can make sense since any time I've visited KF over the years it's always been pretty staunchly anti paedo (nevermind the fact that shadman was pure lolcow material). Then proceeded to get mad at anyone who thought he was bad for drawing shit of not just fictional children but also peoples actual kids.

What is ironic is that Dick is not transphobic. He believes that there is a small vocal minority that makes them look bad. He compares it to the populist right. He also has trans people as regulars on his show (Sofia Narwitz, Digibro, Cripple Jesus, and others)
That explains why those two guys with Dick Show titlecards as their avatars got banned though.
