this "we need to crack down on LMAO pics" shit is a shining example of why the forum is dying. It's literally just a thread for people to share funny pictures and have a good time, but oh no we can't have that. We have to FORCE those people to take part in our retarded nonsensical dramas that they could not give less of a shit about. What could that possibly accomplish other than making people want to leave your forum? At least they're inventive with their self-destruction, I guess.
Unfortunately the symptoms were already there and Garry decided to take out Facepunch before the cancer spread to his own site. WAYT and the Depression thread were starting to leak out into Politics, probably because Tudd was able to share his opinions without being banned, and god know show these people hate opinions.

Thats what it was but eventually keep autism localized within one thread for long enough and itll develop its own autistic culture. Emily Vasquez, Lord of Boxes, Kiwi (I think he's Joker now (citation needed)) are the names I remember, everyone else either moved on or changed names, like J!NX to Curls. WAYT Still exists on knockout, its basically just tranny memes, ranting about having to interact with people irl, and other gay material thats par for the course for tranny circlejerking. Last time I visited the thread everyone was talking like 16 year olds would on a discord server.
It was, most people used the thread to rack up all the required posts to get gold status, it was one of the few threads you could post just random gibberish in and not get banned. Then Garry changed it so fast thread no longer counted as posts anymore and everyone went salty. Left were the weirdo inhabitants that we see today. On knockout it’s turned more into a “please feel sorry for me” thread rather than it’s original purpose.

People on Facepunch used to joke about banning the regulars of LMAO Pics because it was the thread everyone poked fun at, and now there are people on Knockout unironically considering it. It's emblematic of how different the two forums are.
ikr, it's like all they do on that forum these days is find and argue about the next thing to ban people for. Eventually you aren't going to be allowed to say anything at all.
