Why even ban posters for this slight. Just clear the pronoun field and DM them or post on their profile. That's what Null does if somebody has nsfw profile pic. First poster is literally agreeing with the narrative that "PolyMC is compromised by right-wing hacker, guys you should switch immediately!!!!" and he still gets banned.

I'm so glad you mentioned that. had checked out that thread earlier. It's about as hilarious as you would expect, with them suggesting someone make "PrideMC"

Is there even a point to a pronoun field on a forum? How many times are you going to refer to another forum user in the third person.

It’s only use is to immediately identify troons, so it’s easier to disregard their opinion.

There's never any point to declaring your pronouns at all because most of the time you won't be referring to somebody in the third person. The only point is to convince others that pronouns aren't obvious which makes it easier to refer to trannies as "she/her". This is usually backed by some snide remark about how "everybody has pronouns, dipshit" which is yet another insidious abuse of language on top of the abuse of pronouns.

The key takeaways are
1. Fae/faer is permitted for some reason, fae pretty much means fairy, how is that permitted as pronoun is beyond me

2. You will get banned if you misuse it or use for jokes (Mods are enforcing this with high favoritism)

3. It's easy to see if poster is mentally ill now
- Plenty of it/its pronouns

4. Now that you see who is troon and who not, you can refer to them as bro/dude to make them meltdown (although, its likely thats also bannable offense)

5. People get banned longer for pronoun field misuse than for terrorism plans/threats (as that one was 12 hours)

6. Plenty of normies are confused. Can't blame them if you see cat or other animal emojis in pronoun field combined with fae/faer or it/its or other troon approved jokes
- Regular person will assume this is not taken seriously, but they will be met with pitchforks if they dare to misuse it themselves

I predict inevitable headache where jannies constantly overheat their brains whether specific pronoun violates rules or not,

And if they make wrong choice, another big drama will erupt cause troon got oppressed by transphobic uninformed bigoted evil mod's false ban over totally heckin valid neopronoun!

How long until someone gets banned for not using any third-person pronoun at all and just typing out the username of the person they're talking about?

That’s already an official ban reason on stackoverflow, though probably not enforced.

FP jannies have always run things in a way that maximizes the amount of bans (and by extension, ko)
Fully customizable label text under the username. This shit is literally a title, repurposed into a "pronouns field". No shit people are putting in whatever they want, they're baiting people with the fact that it's an unfiltered text input. Customizable user infos like 'Location' have been abused since the dawn of time, and it's even more tempting here since it isn't prefixed by something like "Pronouns: "

Someone sensible would just make it a dropdown. If the neopronouns meme is a big deal then a suggestions thread is all that's needed, you don't even need to code anything extra. Simply banning for abuse doesn't help, quite the opposite, since now you'll have your report queue filled with users who don't-care-didn't-read.
Although to be honest it seems to be a win for everyone that way. Mods'll get their daily boner from banning people, assimilated users will jump for joy over evil 'mask-off' abusers, and normal people will eat a ban for a harmless joke and probably fuck off forever.
