It's nonsense like this (and nonces likes these) that made fascism attractive.
I cannot fathom the day to day lives of these people, their cognitive dissonance and burger king kids club world view.
These are the types of people who praise pop-sci and bill nye but then demand any sort of actual long-range study done that contradicts their world view labeled as "hate-facts".

Ironically, it was people holding purvisdavid1's viewpoint that pushed me towards the range of politics I engage in now, that left wing notion of "submit to us or perish".
It's what turned me from a garden variety freemarket lolbertarian to wanting these sorts of people hanged or shot, anything right of trotsky was not good enough so I threw up my hands and realized
that let-it-be lolbergitarianism doesn't work if the other side schemes for your annihilation. And now I scheme for their annihilation.

As someone who is very passionate about art, I always find it annoying how these types of people treat large dev studios like independent creative teams. There are tons of artistic aspects to game development, but ultimately mainstream releases are a commercial product that is the result of a wealthy company funding it based off market data.

It is totally valid to compare the two games when they're coming from the same mold. As a consumer why should I give a damn about the teams size or resources. If it isn't as polished and it costs four times more than a decade old game, it's totally valid to consider it not worth buying.

Coming by just to say hi to the ex FP'ers , 09'er , I tried to stay on KO but fucking hell the hivemind and activism just keeps getting worse and worse , I have nothing against trans people but these ones here are so fucking "LOOK AT AND ACKNOWLEDGE ME" be it for being trans or being depressed, having anxiety etc , I'm a depressed piece of shit myself but I'm not constantly trying to score pity ratings in every fucking thread , thread derailing was common on FP but on knockout so many fucking threads get derailed into political or trans convo , it really is a hugbox , much more than certain parts of FP. I could give less of a shit for rep vs dem stuff but everything there focuses on that or trans stuff ,ok you are fucking trans great just stop making everything about that. And yeah mods are absolutely banning people for wrong think or whatever you call it , it pisses me off that anyone with a valid opposing opinion gets box spammed , people constantly replying with shitty one liner "zingers" (no bad faith arguing ban for them) and eventually getting banned , it's a fucking cesspit , anyways hi , know of any other forums similar to oldpunch ?

yup, getting banned from KO is the best online thing that's happened to me. Never looked back, apart from checking in here every now n then to see what new sillyness they're up to. I don't know of any other online communities, I've washed my hands of them and mostly just stick to 4chan now.
