True. But it's an even bigger shame that it didn't die out with Facepunch.

Garry saw what was going on, and pulled the plug. If only everyone else had heeded his advice to let the past die...

It's a famous (and very beautiful) product of White European culture, so defacing it is "worth the cost" of whatever social cause du jour they believe in.
 
Well one thing I've noticed is that the LGBT crowd tends to be extremely hostile and toxic to other members of the LGBT crowd, so theres really nothing else for KO to do but slowly erode itself until theres only the most extreme idiots left, and then they'll sit there wondering how their forum could have possibly died.

I wonder if the last remnants of Knockout will set up a new Knockout when it dies. After all, history repeats itself.

Doubt it, Facepunch is a rotting corpse by now and most of the people who used it in the past and/or got banned from KO already moved on to other sane alternatives. Combine that with the fact that forums are pretty much a thing of the past and apps like Discord is a more comfortable alternative.
 
There is currently a debate on how to handle shooting threads as gun control advocates have resorted to flooding the news sections with articles on shootings on KO.

They didn't delete it, they used the mod nuke feature to wipe it out entirely (notice their content was completely removed?). So either Zillamaster decided to completely nuke their account or they stepped too close to the party line and got incinerated.
