Thank fuck it's the 4th. Watching the self-inflicted troon holocaust was somewhere between hilarious and agonizing. 20 gorillion people delete their accounts over random "da troons" commentary from a single jannie. Really doing your best to fight that for the 40something% stat. Literally nobody outside the Politics / News / Meta subforums cared at all about the drama going on in there. I didn't even notice it until the site banners went up. Also, Ashley Whiskey is a major creep, idk why anyone thought it was a good idea to make them a mod. There's something deeply unsettling about a dude masquerading as a "horny lizard mom" who cannot stop self posting the least funny content i've ever seen.

Welcome to the true refugee camp. Honestly I'm surprised there's people who didn't really notice what was going on until only recently, I noticed a long time ago and didn't even browse those subforums all that much. The place has gotten exponentially worse since then, but at least its been entertaining. From the outside at least.

I mean, admittedly I only stuck to like a handful of threads. I've basically avoided politics / news subforums since the old days of FP, as the people who main those sections are the most miserable goblins i've ever seen. On top of that, most of the worst posters from there transferred straight over to KO and continued like nothing happened, meaning literally every thread is made by like the same half dozen people and it's all "not-left-enough person x did y and that's why they're worse than hitler fucking my dog" type threads. Most of the other subforums are about as alive as Ronald Regan too so I don't really have much reason to go to them.

As retarded as it was, I kinda miss the days of being on your toes so you didn't get banned back on FP. A lot of the chaff got filtered out reaaaaal quick. Made threads like "need some help with some models" even more entertaining when they did crop up.

I don't feel like rereading Jim's post, but didn't he not even talk about troons in general, just Zillamaster and his cabal of retards? From what I saw and from what I've heard in the past, I don't even think Jim was lying, they just pretended he was bullshitting and banned him.

They're just plain sick. As repulsive as the dirty junkies you meet on the street, there's a weird culture of tolerance and outright patronage toward low-lifes, it's awful. Because they're such losers, they tend to hang around online resources for longer, repulse healthy people away, and then they end up running them, one-upping each other with crippling mental illnesses, hormones, tits, and unconditional demands for inclusivity. Garry nuked FP because he didn't want to have anything to do with this cespool after a while.

Jim is 100% pro-trans rights. True believers always get purged the most publicly.

He genuinely did just have an issue with a clique. Unfortunately, him being a true believer was his downfall as he was not especially careful around them. He treated them as you would any other person and called them on bad behavior. People "playing the game" would know to walk on eggshells around people with weaponizable identities.

It drives me insane because I've personally seen a handful of people that I knew very well get dragged into it and it's always the same shit: They get a depression period, whether that be from something bad happening, a lack of (or bad) social interaction, chronic online-ism, or some combination of the 3 and then some shitter either directly or indirectly starts whispering sweet nothings into their ear and then boom, couple months later they re-appear wielding the blue and pink suicide awareness flag in their PFP background. This shit is flat out a mental illness that behaves like a contagious disease. You wanna see real grooming? That's what this shit is and the common person doesn't even fucking realize it.

And the thing is, it never ends with a happy note. It almost always ends on either worse depression or a rope because the underlying depression that sent them into this shit doesn't get treated other than the initial "wow I'm doing something about it!" phase and then their friends and family drop them harder than an irradiated hornet's nest. If by some miraculous happenstance they don't fall down either of those two bottomless pits they end up perpetuating the suffering by converting people as was done to them.

But hey at least the pink and blue people can be happy they "did something" atop their corpse thrones.

My cope is to remember the genuine pity I can feel for the actual human tragedies of such lives, but to actively distance myself from these kinds of places because they're stacked against me and I actually like myself.

Ultimately they're against the self-autonomy of nations. While I will renounce Japan's inability to accept responsibility during WWII, they constantly lament that Japan wishes to retain cultural homogeneity. If you can't migrate to Japan, and instantly become Japanese, then Japan is evil and wrong. I regularly see complaints about Japan's culture of relative isolationism, but they refuse to accept the will of the country as a whole. Honestly, I don't know what I'm getting at, but I just think it's fucking stupid of KO to constantly insist that Japan needs to be more like the US (which is a country that KO hates, regardless of its diversity) in spite of the wants of the Japanese people.
