They had to put out a message explaining why they're never going to put the game on discount (because they see value in their product) because broke reddit trannies literally would not stop asking for a discount

So many of them were saying how they had this on their wishlist for years and are not going to buy it now. A $20 game. On their wishlist for years. Bitch, you were never gonna buy it.

Scott somehow managed to squeeze an entire franchise out of what amounts to a chuckie cheese creepypasta, make millions of dollars off something that is explicitly fucking garbage and then dabbed on out with his millions while leaving his fanbase to seethe that he's a republican. And he's even smart enough to just fuck off the internet so he doesn't have to deal with the retards that like his crappy games. Notch still posts on twitter to this day for some god forsaken reason.

It's impressive really. I hope I stumble ass over teakettle into profound success someday.

I can’t seriously be the only one who does not care what some dev’s political views are!?!? Is it not possible to seperate the art from the artist? Course, I can’t stand Orson Scott Card, but I barely read his works anyway. If you liked Factorio, PLAY IT. It’s not like you have to care much about the dev. This is why you shouldn’t have heroes.

So the whole crux of the issue is this Uncle Bob guy that the dev mentioned, though when I looked up what he was cancelled for really the only things that came up were a tweet about how defunding police is a bad idea and something he said about women in code. Are boomer opinions something to get this upset about? The dude isn't some nobody either, Uncle Bob is a pretty highly regarded codemonkey and programmer.

I was looking at some of the reviews and... what the fuck is this shit about him hating trannies? I looked into it and all I can find about the recent controversy is him promoting Uncle Bob's books and calling communism a genocidal and violent ideology.

Is this just another case of troons making everything all about them?

Look, I know that this man is epic and based but let's not pretend that FNAF's success is anything but him winning the children's attention lottery with a shitty babby's first scary game.

Of course, Notch also won the very same lottery and did it harder than anyone in the industry could ever dream of, but at least there's (used to be) a real talented programmer hidden underneath those 50 layers of fat, laziness and vacation meals. And his game also used to be genuinely fun back when it showed some promise.

Scott is just a newgrounds-tier shitter at best.
