Playing Fallout 4, hating almost every bit of writing I came across. Is Fallout London better? It doesn't have to even be good, I just want something better than what I'm playing.

Writing in London is leagues better, but it's still cut from the same cloth: generic raiders everywhere, people live off trash and use trash as currency, 100+ year old food found for no reason ect.
That said, the game does have a better written world, characters, quests and it actually resembles a real RPG, but underneath it all it's still Fallout 4, the DNA is just too hard to shake away. So, the answer really depends on how much you hate Fallout 4, if you can't stand it then London won't help, but if you can stomach the mechanics and nonsense that comes with it, then London is definitely a better game.
BTW if you do decide to play the game, I made a few mods that help by dewoking the game, rebalancing scrap and adding food recipes if you want to roleplay as a survivalist build ala New Vegas. The links are here somewhere, I can't be bothered to look for them right now.

Why am I not surprised that someone who spend +$100 on GTA 6 before there was even any gameplay shown, as soon as the pre orders were open, has trouble with something as simple as installing Fallout 4 mods?

can you read you stupid motherfucker? i didnt say i didnt know how to install mods, i said i installed too much shit and fucked up the original game beyond repair. and its not like installing mods nowaydays is more complicated that running wabajack or some shit like that. or that also breaks the LORE or the SANCTITY of modding FALLOUT tm?

Just go for TTW, if you never played 3 before you are not missing out on anything. At this point, it's a tech demo that's a novelty, but ultimately pointless when TTW lets you play the same game with updated NV mechanics.

Yeah, I am going to give FOLON team benefit of the doubt and say that the real museum in London also has a gay holohax exhibit. I changed it in my mod to talk about the European Civil War instead(something I find they overlooked, considering that you are finally playing in Europe and yet there is barely any lore surrounding it).
