Father falsely accused of abusing his two children as part of a "satanic cult"

A father falsely accused of abusing his two children as part of a "satanic cult" has spoken of the "horrific" allegations he faced.
In an exclusive interview, Ricky says he is still receiving death threats from people who believe the claims.
In March, a family court judge dismissed the claims - also posted in internet videos - as "baseless".
She said the children had been forced to make the allegations by their mother and her new partner.
Ricky - the BBC is not publishing his full name in order to protect his children - told Victoria Derbyshire the first he knew about the allegations was last September when he was told to go to a police station.
The claims - that he led a "satanic cult" in north London and that he and other members carried out the abuse - had been made by his children in mobile phone recordings and two police interviews.
Their names and videos of them making the allegations were also widely circulated online by their mother and campaigners.

Accusing someone of running a Satanic cult is a new one to get the kids. Fuck this planet.

Ugh, I think the mother is way more likely to cause harm to those poor kids than the dad is. What kind of parent could even think of shit like that about their own children, much less train them to say it to the cops.

That's awful. How screwed up are those kids going to be from this? It's had to have gotten to the point where they must believe it too on at least one level.

Same thing can go to people such as the mother. Irony here is that she herself, along with her partner, is the abuser, not the father.

The kind that would no doubt want to beat their ex-spouse in having custody. If anything, the one that should face the abuse charges is the mother and her partner. The two screwed over these kids, messing up their minds and accusing an innocent man just so the mother can have kids is just sickening and abusive.

It's not new. It's very old. It's actually so old it's out of date now, because "Satanic cult" accusations are notorious for invariably being false.

People who implant such sick notions in the heads of children should themselves be thrown in prison for child abuse. It's brainwashing and it's disgusting.

Check the work of psychologist Elizabeth Loftus on the condition of False Memory Syndrome, which is alarmingly easy to cause especially in impressionable young people. After the McMartin preschool hysteria, caused by fraudulent "experts," child abuse investigators have very strict protocols to avoid a repeat.

Sadly, there are still nuts who buy into this lunacy.

When I was little my Mom had that book "Michelle Remembers", I read it and even though it's all nonsense it still scared the shit out of me.

Satanic Panic is back?
What is this, the 80s?
Next thing you know, people will be trying to censor comics and video games again.

Ha. I remember watching YouTube vids of clips from old 80s and 90s daytime shows. (Oprah and her ilk) and they ALWAYS had a satanist as a guest. And klan members. Seriously, what the hell was that all about? Propaganda? Ratings? Shock value?

The 70s and 80s were decades of confusion man. Yet people love it for that I guess.

the 80's was a time of moral panic and moral guardians.

this sounds familiar
children being flushed down toilets to secret rooms where they would be abused,
yup. I remember reading on something like that.
do people know that children can't fit through toilets?

Apparently the juries did, though the prosecutors, investigators and other idiots who put on this clown show didn't.

and the couple still got death threats for years after that didn't they?

also, wasn't there s lifetime movie made about this?

You know, it's shit like this why I look at nearly any accusation as a total lie now, horrible as it sounds.

And also wanna punch people who claim there's "no benefit" from making false accusations when people endlessly dogpile the accused even when proven innocent.

Seriously, this poor bastard's probably gonna be found dead soon because someone else was a petty bitch.
