It really is a situation of the pot calling the kettle black. A lot of the users who left over this situation (or continue to complain about it) have porn of their fursonas, as well. I really don't get how they see themselves as somehow less degenerate just because their talking dog getting fucked stands on two legs instead of four.
FurLane will probably last as long as FurFur, if it even starts in the first place. I imagine there's going to be plenty more user-made sites because everyone wants a shot at showing the rest of the community how they think things should be (and I imagine they're all going to fail miserably).

Why would they have switched away from Ko-fi? Iirc Ko-fi uses PayPal for handling payments anyway.

Do the donations go towards improving the site or is it just for the site owners to pocket?
Part of me doubts that they would be able to pull in that much with how poorly things are going for them, and it might be them doing the ol' trick of putting their own money into it so others feel inclined to donate.
But the other part of me remembers these are furries and they'll waste their money on anything, including websites that realistically wont be around for longer than a few months from now.

You know the sad thing about this is the obsession they have over us makes any sort of obsession we COULD have so damn miniscule. I'm just waiting for some of them to join the farms just to screech at us.
