Is it just me, or does anyone else think this Hatemonger still they made in that ad is supposed to reference/parody the black and white gigachad photo?
Either way, this may well either become my next profile pic or banner soon enough.
 
Posting the Farms' own archive of Flashgitz's 40k parody comic Regular Marine here (NSFW) for the thread's enjoyment. Tom and Don stopped working on it because Games Workshop (GW), the owner of the Warhammer 40,000 IP, reportedly sent them a cease and desist letter to shut down the comic and their 40k animations probably around 2012-2014, back when GW was way more tyrannical with its IP. Tom and Don then released "Inside GW" in response. Here's the full comic plus archive from the Warhammer Rejects forum:

New Flashgitz 2nd channel (Tom and Don) video on news regarding episode 3 of + Space King + . (Archive)


TL;DW
  • (1:03-1:36) Flashgitz had finalized the animation, backgrounds, voice, and song for the intro/title sequence to the + Space King + series (not sure if sound effects will be added later) and has released it to the public.
  • (3:07-3:09) Over 70 people are working on Episode 3 of + Space King +.
  • (4:04-4:07) Tom says "fuck you Netflix," most likely confirming suspicions in the A Message from Hatemonger video that it was Netflix that attempted to purchase the rights to + Space King +.
  • (4:15-4:28 ) Episode 3 of + Space King + will be released before the end of the summer.
  • (4:28-5:35) Flashgitz hopes that development of episodes will soon speed up now that the development process has been refined from Episode 2 to Episode 3. They have already started work on Episode 4, with the script almost complete and the animatic under development.
  • (6:23-7:41) After the release of Episode 1 and the release of the first hoodies, the factory Flashgitz contracted to manufacture screwed up the asset wash leading to some of the delivered hoodies looking like they have cum fingerprints. They replaced that factory with another factory that did the merchandise deliveries after Episode 2. Flashgitz is giving customers who had the "cum fingerprint" hoodies free replacements while putting the Episode 1 hoodies on a limited sale.   • (7:41-8:24) Tom and Don of Flashgitz hope to post more content to the second channel (Tom and Don) with a video to be posted next Friday after over a year hiatus due to work on + Space King +.

This episode really went ham with the concept of the psycho warriors being quite literally man-children, with hilarious results. I wonder what the consequences of sneaking up will be in the next episode.

Yes. There was a Q&A about Space King released before the episode 3 where Tom and Don answers several questions from Patreon. They stated that the Christmas special, a.k.a Episode 4 is supposed to tackle factions that are not Psycho Warriors but are loyal to Space King (08:40), a.k.a. a Human Space Empire. They also mentioned that they regretted creating a suburban setting in the first episode because it ultimately confused people that it was not supposed to be Earth but be an Earth-like planet the Empire did not encounter yet (14:12). Also, no Space King variants of the Sisters of Battle/Silence (10:23) in the series, unless the 'NO' is sarcastic.

Some of the questions were straight up sus.
  • Someone asked what happens if you put the globules into a girl, Tom and Don responded with 'where would the globules go' (18:31). Tom demanded that it be quoted that it's forever biologically impossible that a girl can receive globules. No pooner Psycho warriors = Troons BTFO.
  • Another person asked why not use the girls as renewable energy instead of throwing them into a volcano and Tom answered, 'dude, stfu.' (7:19)

There are so many little jokes throughout this episode that show a subtle brilliance, and I'd like to highlight a few:

1. Dropping everything to destroy the female Psycho Warrior was, in fact, more important than finding Space King.
2. The dude who created said Psycho Warrior was, in fact, from Bryce's legion, a not-so-subtle jab at the shit our boy gets into in this episode.
3. The true nature of the green crystals was hinted at by the title of the fucking book. Bryce is a fucking idiot.
4. Even with 40% of his brain missing, Terry is smarter than Bryce.
5. The Warden Psycho Warriors had green energy swords, meaning they knew what the Green Crystals were supposed to be used for, and still couldn't resist using them.
6. Hatemonger actually kind of likes Chestnut now and is kind of protective of him. Something to be said for being able to swing the Hate Mace. Humorously, this backfires because teaching them compassion before Hatemonger showed them hate 101 actually made the machines hate *more*.
7. I love that the plot moves forward because of our heroes' fuck-ups and not in spite of them.
8. Captain is actually improving on his leadership, and the entire thing WAS Bryce's fault and a showcase of his ego (most obvious part), but in the scene where Terry opens the door and reveals the crystals, Captain gives BRYCE his attaboy. That means that Cap was planning to do that the entire time, and Bryce would have gotten his credit regardless of Terry's contributions because it was HIS idea, but Bryce, being a dipshit, didn't see past this.
9. Bryce does learn his lesson by the end of the episode, but true to form his interpretation of the lesson is fucking hilariously dumb.
