Flesh is happy to assert that he hasn't "left the left", so I suspect that the term "dark woke" is aimed at his milieu: he's meta-woke to the fact that mainstream "woke" encapsulates luxury beliefs, maladaptive empathy, and learned helplessness, and that makes his meta-wokeness "dark" to people who embrace the common uses of the term.

The common understanding in news and online:
Meta-woke is watching a Jubilee video and understanding it's reality tv and nothing more.
"Dark-woke" is calling someone retarded for believing otherwise. A fat retard if they're on the heavier side.

I think he just wants to say chuddy shit while still being a part of the "we just want you to have healthcare" crowd, in his newest solo podcast he rants about top universities allowing retards in en masse lol

he did a documentary about the las vegas shooting for mde of all things lol, I'm not paying for it and I can't be bothered trying to find a reupload of it but I imagine most of the points will be similar to other vids available on yt like this

There are a number of people, even a few KF users, that insist a "true" pedophile does not discriminate and will go after both boys and girls. While it is a true that there are plenty of pedos that aren't picky about which gender they go after, there are certainly pedos that only go after one gender. I kind of understand why gays go with this dumb logic, because they don't want to confront the fact that there is a huge pedo problem in their community, but I've never really understood why some other people push this narrative.

This is what I believe. "Dark Woke" is all over twitter now. It's no secret that being on Team Left sucks, even for the true believes. You can't make jokes or even insult someone who deserves it without risk of being called a bigot. This is why you see so many leftists use lame elementary style insults. I believe the left is not only tired of having to police their speech, they're also aware of how weak they look when they're being called a retard and the best insult they can reply with is "knucklehead".

some of my more lefty friends use the word "retard" again and even drop the n-bomb when they're sufficiently drunk, the left has been popular with young people historically because they were seen as fighting back against puritan no fun conservatives but in recent years making a tame joke at the expense of le hecking oppressed groups would be enough to make you a pariah in those circles. You can see them trying to change course recently with the edgy kirk jokes but that comes off as them holding genuine vitriol against kirk rather than trying to make a funny joke.

Conservative ideas have been more popular with the kids recently because that is the counter culture at the moment, it was really underestimated the amount of resentment that builds up when you're sat in a classroom with blm and pride flags on the walls and not being able to go against it in the slightest.

And, as I've posted about before, the left is obsessed with the idea of being countercultural underdogs fighting against the establishment. Even when they are fully in control of politics and culture, they portray themselves and think of themselves this way. And that must ring especially hollow to kids who haven't grown up with 60s-era depictions of the left. Instead, they merely see the left's behavior and don't like it.
 
The term "woke" sounds so dumb. I finally decided to look up why people use the word "wake" in past simple rather than past participle and realized it's because it was coined by blacks in the 1930s. It all makes sense now.

They don't think it be like it is, but it do.
