I was hoping to find more background on the long going back-and-forth between FleshSim and his detractors.
I know everyone is focused on the video: it's lack of meat (aside from the implication that the person-of-interest is into monkey torture vids) and the seemingly lame "look at how you've brought shame upon your
parasocial husbando Hasan-kun" website. However, one thing in all the Twitter sperging stuck out to me:
I remember reading about several "high profile" "right-wing anons" having been doxed harassed IRL, including eigenrobot and captivedreamer.
The implication here is that FleshSim found out it was this guy or his gay little cadre and ratted them out, and the negotiated a stand down. For course, being a retarded internet tough guy, the little commie faggot couldn't abide, so he basically withdrew all his lame "puhweeze guys, don't harass or go after the retarded faggots attacking me, give them a chance to deny their nature and grow the fuck up."
I believe Hasan and his ilk are unique in the sense that you can't really do much to attack their izzat - because their izzat actually exists only within their in-group. Communist are shameless and lie as easy as they breathe and nothing is more important to them than falling in line with the group. Just look at collargate, people who love him will copesplain no matter what, and if they can't copesplain no longer they will just say "So what" and laugh your silly animal welfare concerns out of the room. I genuinely can't imagine him cutting off any janny for any other reason than lightest possible personal slight to himself or the ideology.
And this is why I believe there
has to be something going on off-screen. Otherwise FleshSim would have been at home with a thread in the "Internet Tough Guys" subforum.
The difference being an ITG is all talk, no action... where I get the impression that FleshSim actually
could actually instigate some ruination on someone. Problem being: unless you're a no-life loser or an ideological zealot, like FleshSim's detractors, it's typically WAY more effort than it's worth.
