People have been nearly entirely ignoring the Facebook random update thread in lieu of starting new threads over trivial Facebook statuses.

And just in general, the megathreads are being neglected.

Shouldn't more of these be being merged?
 
I've given moderator powers in that board to both marvin and abl but I don't think they've ever been interested in moderating. Hellblazer was the last one to really care about Disco's quality but he gave up to make his own chris-chan stalking website with blackjack and hookers. I'm not sure what I can do to help that board.

I don't mind minor facebook updates getting threads. Having a collated thread for them is pointless when 90% of it is bad posters saying dumb shit.

Nothing Chris says, posts to facebook or youtube, tweets, writes, draws, paints, molds, or otherwise does has any value whatsoever. Therefore it is pointless to expect quality from a forum devoted to him. The FB update threads are usually good for some lazy A-logging, so just roll with it guys.

If you consider a thread to be about a minor status or something covered by a Megathread, reports are always welcome. To give an example, two such minor fb threads that were better off in a Megathread were reported this morning and merged after a brief review. If staff is on the fence about whether people think something is fine as it is or not, reports will encourage investigation and often prompt quick response since every online staff member is alerted about it.

Yep, especially during the Trump Megathread there were a lot of complaints of staff overdoing the merging of threads into megathreads. Those complaints were processed and contrasted with the complaints that ended up necessitating the megathreads in the first place.
 
To be fair I kinda feel like alot of things could be merged or dealt away with completely.

I kinda wish he would just be another lolcow/didn't have his own subforum. I mean there is nothing left to even laugh at, like no matter what he does now it would not surprise anybody. To the point like it (chris) gets not even a meh from me. Will kiwifarms ever rise above being that forum that began because of this fgt? lol prob never. You know what never mind. Can somebody at least make his icon fatter so it can be more accurate ffs. Yes.
