Eh, I'm with the others in that I'm grateful that @Null works as hard as he does to keep the KF up against the constant onslaught of dickless trannys and cucked corporations who kneel to them. TOR can be a PITA, but for me the only symptoms I have seen are some slightly slower loading times, and an occasional need to refresh. And for some reason I can't do anything other than "like" for post reactions, but compared to the alternative, I'll take it. Also, if you're of a certain age, it's kind of a callback to, and still faster than, the 56K dialup days of the interwebs. 🤷‍♂️ I need to figure out how to donate some ETH one of these days....

thanks for the tip, i tried a bunch of different connects and managed to find one that isnt so bad. the speed is actually pretty usable.
tl:dr to anyone having slow speeds keep trying new tor connections until you get one with good speed.

I was still using dial up for most of the 2000's so I am not that shocked by it. Even dial up with a 56k modem in 2007 and 2008 was ridiculously slow. But faster internet was still pretty expensive. When they started advertising a 1 Mbps DSL for $20 a month that's about the time I finally moved on from dial-up. It must have been some time in 2009 2010. and I had that for years. These days it would probably be slow especially now. But back then 1Mbps was really all you needed.

Tor is kind of slow. I noticed this with the times I used it for other stuff. But I can say nigger faggot and fuck here freely. I can't do that shit on YouTube.

Honestly my tor routes are generally pretty fast, sometimes I forget to switch my proxy settings in my browser and load up a youtube video and it still buffers fine (not on 4k videos though, for those I have to turn it off). KWF is pretty snappy too.
 
my tor connection is thankfully blessed. it's pretty much normal clearnet speeds which means it's often faster than the clearnet URL since the troons keep cyberbullying it.
